Whenever I get a mouth ulcer, I take, once daily for seven days, L-Lysine 500 mg. tablets. I have never had to take the tablets for more than a week--they always seem to work. Hope this helps you.

Two things - some topicals have clinical evidence that they heal cold sores in 2 to 4 days. These include Lip Clear Lysine+ and Abreva. The first is much less expensive. Second; Canker Cover for canker sores heals most sores in 24 hours. It's a pill like patch that adheres to the sore for up to 8 hours forming a shield against food and drink irritants. At the same time, it heals. Two fairly large studies back this claim up.

All of us have stomach ulcers from the insults and stupid comments from Nurse Ava from far far away in South Carolina. Shame on her.

Actually, her comments have been observed literally making cancers disappear.

LOLÂ…. anyway, to my knowledge, mouth cankers and herpes are two different things. I have occasionally gotten mouth cankers ever since I was a kid. They go away in a couple of days on their own. Not to be too mean here, but dude you have to have a low pain threshold to even think of applying medicine to a canker. Wow.

If I had a nickle every time I had a foreign object in my mouth I would be a billionaire.
