operating both eyes at the same time pro and cons

I'm about to have a multifocal implant lens in both eyes. ItÂ’s preferable to have booth eyes operated at the same time? Or one at a time?
If at the same time, then what are the pros and cons and how long should I be limited to work with my PC.

I know that most ophthalmologists prefer to do one eye at a time. This way you let the inflammation in the surgical eye die down and then they do the other eye another time. However, all doctors are different and I would talk to them about your situation specifically. As far as working on your PC, you should strain your eye right after surgery so i would limit the amount of time your on the computer. Just let you body tell you when you are ready to resume normal activity.

My Eye Physician gave me a brochure about Catract surgery and among other things it said not to wash your face with tap water after the surgery! Anyone heard this one before?
