I did not understand where you said the clouded lens is removed and replace with a clear plastic lens. The clouded lens-- is that part of the person's eye ? I s it surgically removed ?
And the clear plastic lens-- how is it attached to the eye ? thanks my email is timkuhn1215@hotmail.com |

Has a lot of information on cataracts and cataract surgery. Basically, in cataract surgery the clear lens (in the eye) is removed and a new one is put in. The lens gets cloudy when (called a cataract) and so the cataract surgeon removes it and puts in an artificial lens (IOL or Intra Ocualar Lens) Cheers |
