I hate this crap advice on several grounds:
Women of sixty are not OLD. They still don't want to suffer from vaginal thinning or dryness which kills their sex lives and makes them miserable.
Taking HRT for a few years is about as useful as saying you will fix someone's broken leg for five years and then, at the end of that time, break it again.
This ageism makes me sick.

I don't think there is a woman out there that disagrees with you! Amazing how men have decided what is "old" for a woman!

So when are all these experts going to come up with solutions? They act like menopause is something new. In this day and age - no safe solutions for women.

I have been taking estrogen since I was 29 years old - today I thought my "new" Doc's eyes were about to pop out when I told her I was still taking estrogen. I'm 43. If I don't I feel sick, irritable, and have horrible hot flashes and night sweats. I have no idea where to go from here and have already read and printed 150 pages of info on the topic.
I doubt the answer even exists, my concern is for my future health and that of my girlfriends who are also taking HRT.

Naturally, I am skeptical of everything online. http://inhousegeneric.com is legitimate. I placed my first order for the smallest amount possible. It arrived sooner than expected. I didn't pay the extra money for speedy air mail. I placed another order that was much larger and it came right on time. I will definitely use this company again for even larger orders now that I trust them. They also give you discounts every time you place an order which is cool. One thing to keep in mind is if you place a larger order, they will send half in one shipment, and then the other half after that to avoid customs scrutinizing your package. I am very happy, I no longer need to pay tons of money to see a doctor and therapist (and have them tell me a bunch of stuff I already know) in order to get my medication.
