You can return to work after successful treatments. I've returned to my flying job three times between reaccoring diagnosis. The govenment recognizes that during periods of remission you are an able being.

After successful treatment I went back to flying a private jet. After five year a reaccourance then treatment and again back to flying. You have to believe that you can fight cancer!

Thanks for the encouragement. I enjoyed the Film of Idaho Bush Pilot strips.
It's hard to believe an airplane can get into such a short strip with tall pines on both sides.
When will you be going to Reno?
Call before.

P.S. use your spell check....LOL

When is your next check?
I have 3 years down and am OK, looking forward to a 200 or below level. Yes 200!

Nice photos, you should publish them in AOPA.

Switch back to the Airman Forum. I need to discuss my RV-8 and see if you've had similar problems building the gear support structure with the 3 degree angle leg.

There will come a point when the FAA will take your medical and your flying days wil be over. Sadly it happens to all aging pilots but until that day comes fly your ass off and enjoy as much as possible. Good luck, fly safe

P.S. They can't stop you from building experimental homebuilts so keep up the building. Your RV-8 is magnificent!!!!

Sorry to say it doesn't look good for our friend Davo. It took a turn for the worst. I hear the news from his wife. We all have our "Final Glide"
