Breast cancer drug receives 'breakthrough therapy' designation from FDA
An experimental drug being investigated for the treatment of advanced breast cancer by researchers from the Revlon/UCLA Women's Cancer Research Program at UCLA's Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center this week received "breakthrough therapy" designation from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.Full Story

Wow. 24 1/2 months compared to 4 1/2 months -- that's finally some real progress. In 24 months you might live to see your first grandchild born, or your youngest graduate from college. Does it matter to you? In the moment, yes, but it matters to that child for the rest of his or her life.
