Paula,

Hi, Just wanted to respond to your comment on the Arimidex usage. I had taken Tamoxifin for 3 1/2 years and Arimidex for 5 1/2 years just was taken off meds was to go off as of Oct of this year and removed myself as of July. I did cope well with the Arimidex did not seem to have problems as alot of others. Although I was having joint pain as of last 2 years was able to cope with it glad I am off meds now. I pray you will do fine and remain in good health. God bless.

I understand. I have now been on femara for two years and AI side effects are grim. I have a few tips though. Get an electric blanket and providing you are not flushing at the time, heat yourself up for ten minutes before you get up. This helps with mobility first thing. Take Immunace or another supplement to keep viruses at bay. Cut out alcohol, sugars and use bio salt not sodium. Go on a high protein diet, the over 35 diet restricts carbs but does not ban them. Fibogel is great if like me you get constipated. Drink skimmed milk before bedtime. Get some mild sleeping pills, it is only temporary. I have yet to solve the hairloss problem. Currently wearing a band to cover thinning hair but if it gets worse will try rogaine. Try clip in fringes, fake ponies rather than wigs which are hot. Good Luck
