Been hearing about these "new" types of target specific chemotherapies for a lot of years now. When will it actually be available for use on patients? Seems to be so much red-tape between development and use. i, for one, would have volunteered for a chemo that targets cancer (leaving healthy cells/organs alone)if i had been given the option - risky yes, but then chemo is dangerous (even if it is usually life-saving). Can only hope this one actually gets round to being useful on human patients and doesn't just stay all talk.
