i believe this, if for no other reason than to just take ur mind off of things.

Yes, i agree with you exercise is good for keeping the mind occupied. But, i'm certain that the body needs rest in order to recover, especially during treatment. Any kind of over-exertion (which could be exercising) for an already tired body lowers the immune system which is a definite no no for cancer patients. When i was having chemo i slept a lot, listening to my body's needs, and i used to take a very short walk daily to prevent blood clots and just to get outside; but wouldn't have been up for a yoga class. Post-cancer treatment exercise classes are a good idea, supposed to improve mental (reduce depression) and physical well-being. It would be nice if they were more available, i think a lot of (women especially) don't want to go to a regular class, i know i wouldn't.
