My own cancer is an aggressive form, which has spread to the spine, sacrum and lymph glands. If I delayed treatment, I'd die very quickly and painfully.
I only wish that they could have cut the cancer out, but it was too late, radiation wouldn't help at this point, either. When the spine cancer becomes too painful, they'll do some spot radiation on it, though.
Sometimes waiting and watching will just allow the cancer to grow and spread.
And, younger men are getting prostate cancer these days. I see increasing numbers of guys in their 40's and 50's with PCa.
My cancer is incurable, and will kill me, if an accident, heart attack or stroke doesn't kill me first..........
