I developed breast cancer 31/2 yrs. ago at age 62 I took HRT medications for ten years....very high dosage of Premarin, plus Estratest prescribed by my GYN. I moved to another State and went to new GYN....he was amazed at the high dosage of hormones I was taking and at the same time discovered a lump in my breast. GYN sent me to surgeon who performed lumpectomy.....05 cm. hormone based cancer....fortunately, the cancer was found at a very early stage. Another surgery was performed to determine if lymph nodes were involved...found to be negative. I had 8 weeks of radiation. I have been on Arimidex since end of radiation. My mother had breast cancer around age 55 and had a masectomy...obviously the GYN's should have been more cautious in prescribing heavy doses of hormone therapy. I have also developed osteoporosis. I am a thin white female (110 lbs, 5'4").

I was diagnosed at 41 with breast cancer. I had been taking Hormone Therapy for 16 years. My story sounds just like yours. Thank God mine was found early, too.I just think if I hadn't took all of that estrogen I would not of got cancer. Presently I am on Tamoxifen. Sometimes that is worse than the cancer. Besides that I am currently suffering with lymphedema in my arm and chest. May God be with you .......

I was diagnosed age 49 after using oral contraceptives over 10 years. My GYN never warned me to avoid long term use. I have no family history of female cancers. My breast cancer was 100% hormone receptor positive and I'm convinced it was contributed by the use of oral contraceptives. Unfortunately I had positive lymph nodes and had chemo plus radiation. Now suffering from neuropathy in hands and feet, fibrosis in lungs from radiation treatments, body pain and insomnia from AI medication. I wish I had never used OC medication - - not worth it.

Naturally, I am skeptical of everything online. http://inhousegeneric.com is legitimate. I placed my first order for the smallest amount possible. It arrived sooner than expected. I didn't pay the extra money for speedy air mail. I placed another order that was much larger and it came right on time. I will definitely use this company again for even larger orders now that I trust them. They also give you discounts every time you place an order which is cool. One thing to keep in mind is if you place a larger order, they will send half in one shipment, and then the other half after that to avoid customs scrutinizing your package. I am very happy, I no longer need to pay tons of money to see a doctor and therapist (and have them tell me a bunch of stuff I already know) in order to get my medication.
