I had a double inginal hernia back in August 2012, shortly after a 360 L-4 L-5 360!Fusion, the post op meds from the back surgery caused Me to have a bad reaction causing violent kikking in my sleep as well as walking in my sleep. This went on for a few days, When My wife called the Dr., He took Me off the meds, then The pain in my groin became sever. Finally My Dr. Agreed that the pain I was having sense the back surgery, brought on the hernias. Well I had the double hernia surgery, and I am still in pain the hernia surgery was August 2012, now it's 2014. In the later part of 2013, the surgeon suggest I have a steroid injection in the right side, where the pain was from the onset of all this. I had the injection, it gave me a couple of weeks of relief, and the pain was back. I was now looking at another back surgery, due to the upper two disk falling down and increased my pain in the back. The surgeon that done the hernia surgery, said let's wait and see if after the back surgery, the groin pain lets up. Well had the back surgery. Month ago and the pain is back. So I will set up an appointment with the hernia surgery per my pain management Dr. My pain Management Dr. Said it could be I have a strangled nerve that may have gotten caught up in the mesh, during that surgery. If this Dr. Tries to give Me the run around, what should I do? I need this darn thing fixed.

boy though with my impotent layman's understanding of things, what could I say, but I'll rely on the so-called common sense, well... a strangled nerve sounds bad obviously, I suppose they have to remove the mesh... but they'd have to be really careful because if the nerve is really attached to it.. ugh...

i have a herniated disc actually on the right side of my lower back and an inguinal hernia on the left side of my front, it's like being attacked from both sides...

how did i come to such damage to the body, it's difficult to display some pride in wounds when pain eclipses ego
