I had no idea what was causing all of my teeth to hurt - like a full-mouth toothache. In addition, my crowns and fillings started breaking or falling out, which led to the underlying teeth to erode. Because of the loss of dental work, i.e., crowns and fillings, there are gaps in my teeth and they have begun to shift. My 'bite' is also off and I often catch the inside of my mouth when chewing. I'll take this data with me to the dentist for confirmation - thank you for the article!

TotalGard does a nice job breaking down what bruxism and teeth grinding are all about! You can learn more by visiting: http://www.totalgard.com/bruxism.html .. this should give everyone a nice background! I purchased a night guard from this company and my bruxism has subsided to date!

All antidepressnts cause TMJ . It results from damage to the brain and nervous system from use of these drugs. The drugs interfere with dopamine and cause chronic muscle tension and pain so they cause rather than cure depression considering that people in pain are depressed

Bruxism disease or teeth grinding while asleep is actually one sleeping disorder that may be caused by the antidepressant drug Paxil. Sleeping disorders are a common unpleasant side effect of the drug, moreover, there are also extreme negative effects such as hallucination, psychosis, suicide attempts, abnormal mood changes and sudden outbursts. More information at http://www.paxilbirthdefectlaw.com about this drug and you should also consult your doctor about possible treatments of the Bruxism disease.

hello I live in Denmark and I am a night bruxer. I suffer from daily headaches due to this. The other day I came across the website cureforbruxism.com and saw the video by Charles Harrison who claims to have found a cure for bruxism. I have a feeling he is going to give advice that I already heard before, such as reducing stress and relaxing exercises, but I do not know, so I would like to hear from anyone who has purchased his product and would like to share your experience. I am glad I found this forum and hope us bruxers can help eachother and share our experiences. I myself have recently come intouch with an engeneer who wants to help me develope a new kind of mouthguard. I have an idea and I am working on it and as the idea matures and hopefully will be on the market, I will put the information on this site.

I NEVER suffered any form of teeth grinding and or clenching BEFORE taking Prozac. Now, after 3 and a half years FREE from Prozac, I am STILL clenching my jaw/teeth. I have also been through a HORRENDOUS withdrawal from this drug and am still, at 3 and a half years free, SUFFERING DAMAGE.

Eeesh! I'm sorry to hear that. If you're in need of a true custom made night guard, you can avoid dental office prices by going to our site http://sentinelmouthguards.com/about-night-gu...
This is an informational page but there is a purchase link as well.
Hope this helps!
