College-age women often unaware of breast cancer risk
#1 Nov 12, 2013
THis is really true that no one cares. I was 38 with no family history or breast cancer. I saw a doctor and was diagnosed with eczema, only to find out 2 years later I had Paget's of the right breast and had to have part of my breast removed and extensive radiation. I had a hard time getting any help due to my age and no family history. I tried going after the doctor to atleast get him fined or something and nothing. I also have chronic pain due to the radiation or scar tissue healing over a nerve. Tried getting on disability and was denied due to local doctor telling me it was all in my mind. There really is not a lot of help for people who don't know anyone or aren't contributing a lot to the hospital. By the grace of God I am alive.
