No one can call themselves a breast cancer "survivor" until they die of something else. Seems our illustrious medical geniuses can only win the first round of the fight with this disease. Too many times it comes back years later with a vengeance. Who is accountable for making no significant progress? How many more billions for "research"? How much more research must be done? How many experiments can be conducted? Hundreds of hospitals across the country are "researching" and still nothing significant. Sure, they have better poisons; but not even close to a real cure. Does anyone really think a cure will be found? We've already thrown un-limited funds, the brightest minds, and the best technology at this disease. What more can be done? WIshing and hoping ring hollow to the women who have this disease and face the reality of it coming back on a daily basis.
