“The most important thing to remember is that we don't put people on hormones just to put them on hormones”

The Women's Health Initiative halted its study of synthetic hormones in 2002 when it was shown drugs like Premarin and Prempro increased the risks of breast cancer, stroke and blood clots. via Casper Star-Tribune

The study did not test the natural human hormone estradiol or micronized human progesterone. Nor did it test the bio-identical combination of estradiol, estrone, and estriol in ratios normal to the human body.

Nor did the study test bio-identical human estrogen when taken intramuscularly, by patch, or sublingually. In theory, non-oral methods should reduce clot risk.

We have more in common with a horse than a plant! Are we plants or mammals?

However, the "plant-based" hormones really aren't. Sure, they start with a raw plant hormone called diosgenin which comes from yams. However, it is converted to estradiol in a laboratory, and estradiol is what we make, as well as estrone, and estriol. Those are native human hormones, and we can make them all without animals and cruelty. Estradiol, estrone, and estriol are what we make, not equilin, etc. The plant-based stuff you get over the counter is essentially worthless, though it might help reduce some of the vasomotor symptoms for some women, plus there is the placebo effect.

There are 17 different chemicals in Premarin, and some of the trace chemicals are progestins, androgens, and who knows what. Yes, there are about 4-5 chemicals in there which scientists don't know what they are or what they do. Oh, they can come up with the formula, but that is all they can tell you. Plus the equine estrogens are made to stay in the body longer, since horses have a longer breeding cycle, hence adding to the liver and clotting risks when taken by humans.

I have ordered prescription drugs (without a prescription) online from http://inhousegeneric.info about two years ago, and was pleased with the speed and quality of service.
I'm thinking of doing the same thing with my medication. The meds is expensive, but there is a generic version available overseas.
I love the idea of taking responsibility for my own health (or lack of health) and skipping the bureaucracy... to say nothing of having to drive to the doctor, wait in line, yet again, to get a prescription refilled.

http://inhousegeneric.com is an honest and genuine online pharmacy. We were not sure at first because this was our first order of generic medication from this pharmacy. Although it takes a bit long because it got stuck with custom, we are completely sastisfied with this online pharmacy.
You won't be disappointed with them. Their customer service is great too although they need to improve their phone system a bit more. If you need to call them just be sure to call during their working hours. Other than that we highly and sincerely recommend this online pharmacy to everyone.

Naturally, I am skeptical of everything online. http://inhousegeneric.com is legitimate. I placed my first order for the smallest amount possible. It arrived sooner than expected. I didn't pay the extra money for speedy air mail. I placed another order that was much larger and it came right on time. I will definitely use this company again for even larger orders now that I trust them. They also give you discounts every time you place an order which is cool. One thing to keep in mind is if you place a larger order, they will send half in one shipment, and then the other half after that to avoid customs scrutinizing your package. I am very happy, I no longer need to pay tons of money to see a doctor and therapist (and have them tell me a bunch of stuff I already know) in order to get my medication.

But the estrogen made using yams is human estrogen, not horse estrogen. The horse urine is distilled straight, and hardly anything chemical is done to it. However, the diosgenin in the yams is converted to 17b estradiol, which is human estrogen. So pharmaceutical hormones don't use plant matter, but use extracted chemicals from plants to make exact replicas of what the human body uses.
