Osteoporosis is a life changing condition that many people really suffer from. Many osteoporosis medication is also potentially harmful to patients. There have been many Fosamax lawsuits which have been filed because the drug has supposedly caused harm to the user. http://www.rotlaw.com/fosamax/

Just what we need -- a lawyer looking for lawsuits.

Those drugs save lives. Since this has tured up in a breast cancer forum I think it's important to note that such drugs can actively prevent the spread of breast cancer to the bone. There's solid research on that. There's solid research regarding the devastating effects of osteoporosis.

Carlos, I think we've had this discussion before.

Or accept that powerful, life-saving drugs can have side effects.

I am so sick of people suing because something saved their life but didn't turn out perfectly.

The doctors as well as the patients should however make sure that the medical device to be used is safe unlike the recalled DePuy hip replacement device of Johnson&Johnson. It has already affected a number of patients. Seek medical advice for more information or you may visit http://www.depuyhipreplacementlawsuit.com/ .

What is it -- National Lawyer's Week here?

This is a breast cancer forum.

Yeah, folks -- get your medical information from a site dedicated to lawsuits.

Here's yet more evidence that these "terrible" drugs save lives, specifically the lives of people who have had breast cancer:
