Yes, dear. The Revolutionary War was fought by ordinary people -- WHO WERE NOT TERRIFIED BY CHANGE.
You are. You would not have been with them. I have no "far left" politicians" except in your relatively uneducated mind with its apparently emotional need to attack those who disagree with you. I'm glad you've read the Constitution, though. Congratulations! Next I suggest that you read up on the Electoral College so you can figure out how this country had the COLOSSAL NERVE to elect the person you voted against. |

Yes I would have been with the founding revolutionaries and for the same reason I'll be with the voting revolutionaries trying to stop the on-coming Liberal Fascist tyranny. I concede the fact that Obama is our elected president but that does not mean I should just sit idly by and passively accept the destruction of all the traditional values, principals and morals I hold dear, because I trust government to do the right thing by me. I see it as being patriotic to challenge political decisions which are bad for America. |

Do you have ANY idea how silly the words "liberal" and "fascist" look next to each other???
In my view it was Bush who was methodically distroying all traditional values, and I viewed his presidency as (hopefully) as close as this country will ever come to tyranny. This is a real problem with the whole "tea party" set. They think they're thinking original ideas. I'm so glad we finally have a president who holds the traditional values, principals and morals *I* hold dear, because I thought Bush was out of control, immoral and just plain dangerous -- partly because of his innate stupidity, he was easily led. It IS patriotic to challenge political decisions. I thank God for people like Obama, willing to do it. What you think is bad for America I think is good for America. That's what makes it a democracy. It's not fascism just because you don't agree with the majority decisions. Fascism doesn't mean "I didn't get my way in a democracy." You're entitled to your opinions but this was supposed to be about health care. HALLELUJIAH IT PASSED!!!! I'm quite sure it's not perfect but you can't refine a body of law that hasn't been put in place. You'll never finish a job you don't even start. |

Gail read your history Nazi Germany began with the Socialist Party which evolved into the Nazi Party. FDR politicians thought that Mussolini's socialism was the wave of the further until it turned into a dictatorship.I could go on and on but I suggest you read Jonah Goldeber's book Liberal Fascism to be enlightened.Frankly speaking anyone that stands by and idly watches the dismantling of the Free Market Enterprise in favor of a nationalization and a State Controlled Economy is a fool. Liberals new definition of equal opportunity is equal outcome. May I ask you who will pay for the massive expansion of entitlements when there is no longer private entrepreneurs to fund them with taxes paid? Will we then see the brown shirt homeland security storm troopers force the peasants back into servitude to the government on the farms and industry? Do we really want to evolve into a USSR failed system?

Give us Health Care, or Give Us Death!
Unfortunately the latter will be ever so true as people are dying waiting for big government approval for procedures or being denied treatment. Our current government can not even get H1N1 vaccines rolling in ample supply, and that is a minor deal in reality. What makes people think the government can effectively run an entire health care program? |

The Progressive Liberal FAR Left have subverted the original meaning of Liberalism which comes from the word liberty and was a good thing which starts are the neighborhood community level building civic togetherness by free choice of association. Liberalism emphasizes individual rights and equality of opportunity. Different forms of liberalism may propose very different policies, but they are generally united by their support for a number of principles, including extensive freedom of thought and speech, limitations on the power of governments, the rule of law, the free exchange of ideas, a market or mixed economy, and a transparent system of government. All liberals — as well as some adherents of other political ideologies — support some variant of the form of government known as liberal democracy, with open and fair elections, where all citizens have equal rights by law. Originalists also believed in the God given rights to life, liberty, and property. The fault line in American politics has grown from a distortion of the original meaning and now is about the Progressive Democrats call for growth and expansion of mandated collective power over the people at the federal level where as Conservatives oppose them with limited government kept at the local level as much as possible. Democrats believe for government to be effective, power and control must be consolidated and centralized at the federal level, where as Conservatives believe people at the GRASS ROOTS can best understand, decide and provide for the needs of the people. The thing about Progressive Liberal politics that troubles me the most is their view of how all citizens should be herded into one totalitarian national village of togetherness. The basic philosophy of Progressive Liberalism is a false assumption that it is human nature to live in harmony and sharing mandated by government. Elitists political progressive leaders know this is a false assumption but choose to use it to further their goals of control and power over the masses. Progressive Liberals believe in experimentation always looking for the better way. Liberals like Obama who swear to uphold the constitution,would really like to replace it with a Marxist Manifesto. They really think the Constitution is flawed and not the bed rock of our society which most Americans faith and trust is anchored in. These Liberal Progressives simply don’t trust the individual to make decisions about their lives. Liberals believe through persuasion, deception, and coercion, the individual must be subordinated to the state.The seduction of Nazism was its appeal to restore COMMUNITY via an all-powerful state. The Nazis also promised to make people feel they belonged to something larger than themselves as did Roosevelt’s New Deal programs did in it’s appeal to national duty, discipline, and brotherhood of community at the national level. What always corrupt government is the consolidation of power at the top.

I feel today's definition of Liberal is synonymous with Socialist. Do feel Obama believes in traditional values when he remarked that the Constitution has deep flaws or reflected the fundamental flaw of this country that continue to this day? Do you believe his criticism of the Warren Supreme court never venturing into the issues of redistribution of wealth was wrong? I think most people would be critical of Warren for throwing Japanese Americans into concentration camps but not using the court to redistributing the wealth. His wife Michele remarked after husband was elected she was proud to be an American for the first time. Is that a tradional value? I'll tell you, I fundamentally distrust government period. I have voted enthusiastically twice in my life time for 2 presidential nominees. First in 1964 for Goldwater and again for the second term of Reagan. I wasn't really sure about his first term since he was once a Democrat. Basically I vote Republican as the lesser of 2 evils to keep Democrats out of office. I believe government is the source of all our problem and not the solution. I like Ron Paul but know he can not win. I would think Liberals would consider Nixon a worse president than Bush. I consider FDR the worst president ever and Carter second, but what the heck does a laymen like me know. What matters is I have a right to say so, unlike what would happen in say Cuba. I guess I'd better choose my words more carefully since Cuba is the model of Michael Moore for health care. I wouldn't want to offend him. |

LLC you can redefine "liberal" in any way you want. It's just the verbal dance going on in your head, and you can undoubtedly find people to agree with you. But Naziism did not grow out of a liberal government. It is you who needs to study history.
I'm not going to debate this with you. You are entitled to your opinion -- and I am entitled to mine. I'm still waiting to hear from most of you whether or not you have health insurance. |

Dirt, for heaven's sake learn about an issue before you start sounding off about it! It's not the government's fault that the H1N1 virus isn't available. It's reproducing in eggs at about 30% of the expected rate. The government is not responsible for biological differences among virii. You cannot make such mistakes and expect to be persuasive about anything. |
||||
Boy, did I strike a nerve; Get more Eggs! Case Closed. |
||||
No, you didn't strike a nerve. You hit yourself on your head with your own hammer. It's not as simple as getting more eggs, proving that ... well, I'm sorry but you're dumber than I thought. Of course, if you have some MD or Ph.D. in a field related to the making of vaccines I will cheerfully withdraw the comment, but based on what you said (get more eggs) you're online because you can behave ignorantly and get away with it (at least sometimes). |

Netopill, you can get Arimidex and Femara far cheaper from Northwest Pharmacy in Vancouver, Canada. I HIGHLY recommend them for excellent service and unbelievable prices. And yes, it's the real thing. With the side effects I had from Femara there was no mistaking its effects. The only problem is that you have to plan well in advance because it can take up to a month, but $89 for three months of Femara -- well, check and see what it would cost at NetoPill or your local pharmacy and you'll be glad to plan ahead.
I posted that because I DESPISE people who come in here and try to use these support forums as their personal billboards. Go to Northwest Pharmacy. You'll thank me! |
