After Maryanne Arthur underwent a bilateral mastectomy in March 2011, she awoke to find herself "flanked" by four surgical drains, two on each side of her upper body.
I think the pretty pockets items are a wonderful idea to help cancer patients with those drains! If I had some sort of pattern I could make some and donate them! I would appreciate it if you could show me a pattern and the size so I could make some too! I would never charge for anything like that and really enjoy just using my craft to give things to friends and family! I would love to help!
Carol I found this on "Designs by Sick" embroidery site. they are 8.25" x 6.75. google it and it is under projects I think and there are also basic directions
