As nurses, we should actively participate in promoting breast cancer awareness to our patients as well as their families. Being aware can help save lives.

I know I am going to sound cynical. In my opinion, the medical community is 'dragging their as**s'when it comes to conquering breast cancer. Awareness is great;but,a timely cure would be greater. It is the one thing that scares me most;and,I am only 38C.
