Hopes for new breast cancer test
A TEST that predicts how breast cancer patients will respond to treatment has been developed by Scottish scientists in a move which could revolutionise the care of women with the disease.

Hope sells, and that's the only reason people keep pumping money into research programs that have not yielded anything substantial in over 60 years. So you have a better detection "test". Then what. Subject the patient to same old protocols that have been around for decades. The fact is, they're no closer to a real cure than they were in 1950. Follow the money trail; diagnostics, surgery, treatment, prescription drugs. There is no profit in finding a cure. As a matter of fact, it's detrimental to business and social agencies. Too many people living too long is an economic disaster.
