I have good experiences with LD Clinic in Prague. I had a Tummy Tuck procedure done there. I was scared to go for a surgery abroad, but I was surprised by the quality of medical care and were very happy with the results.

The nurses and other staff were very kind and helpful. Especially big thanks to Dr. Topinka who did an excellent job.

I recently got a boob job and... my god... they are awesome now. I mean, jaw-droppingly awesome. I didn't have such great boobs even when I was younger! And I have my surgeon, Dr. Marc Salzman, to thank! He's a miracle worker and an artist! Here's his site:

Hi my name is Donna, I'm 54, I want to relate my Plastic Surgery experience for all interested.
On march 2005 I had a Tummy Tuck (U$ 3,550) and Breast Augmentation (U$ 3,350) procedure done in Brazil with Dr.C, I've heard about his clinic and his work from some friends who've been there for Plastics as well and were very happy with the results.
He did an excellent job, I couldn't be happier, Dr. C is very skilled and I will never regret going to Brazil to have Plastics.
Due to the economy differences between Brazil and North America , Plastic Surgery is very affordable for middle class Americans.
I've did some price research in US before and then I realized that comming to Brazil for Plastics is less expensive, even with the added expense of a plane ticket, hotel and food, the quality of medical care is excellent.
If you need more info I'll be glad to answer all your questions about my experience.

I agree 100 percent - Plenitas is not a good company and will totally rip you off and leave things undone so you have to come back. Be especially careful of Dixan - a patient coordinator there. If you must go with plenitas (I don't recommend it) and they assign you Dixan ask for someone else. Dr. Brosto is quite good - go to him directly and save yourself the aggravation and money!

Iam not happy with Plenitas at all. Ive been there and i know about them. On the other hand, Dr. Brosto stop working for them due to ethical differences. I just got an email from his assitant with that information. I had surgery with Brosto but Plenitas kept my deposit, they charged me for a procedure i did not asked and they are so MONEY ORIENTED. Iam thinking of coming back but this time, i will just go directly to Dr. Brosto.
Here is brosto´s website

You are not in the right place - no one is asking your opinion of plastic surgery - how dare you critize someone for making a very personal decision. Plastic surgery is not only for cosmetic purposes - ever hear of RECONSTRUCTION? Why are you even on this site? Get a life and keep your unnecssary comments to yourself.

BEWARE of Plenitas. They will definately rip you off. Not only that, but they completely lied to me about my breast implants. When I arrived in May of 2006 I was informed that I would have to pay an extra $400 USD for FDA approved Mentor Gel implants. Here I am 24 yrs old and alone in Argentina. I paid. 7 months later I received an e-mail informing me that the FDA had just approved mentor gels. When I asked my patient coordinator Dixan Morales about this he blew it off by saying it was only a matter of time...HE LIED! And then didn't even apologize. If you must use plenitas be very careful of hidden costs and request someone other than Dixan.

Christie, How long after the liposuction did it take to recover? I live in Virginia and also have Family in Maceio just north of Maceio in a place called Ipioca.

I have been thinking about getting Lipo on my chest and back, but will only be in Brazil for about 2 weeks....

Hi all--I'm a journalist with Reuters working on a story about plastic surgery in Buenos Aires. I'd like to talk with people who either have had or are planning to have surgery here, to add to research I've already done with doctors, companies, associations, local patients, etc. Please contact me at if you would be able to help me out with an interview or any other leads. Thank you so much!

Don't used Plenitas in Buenos Aires, Argentina!!!! They are bonafide, top-notch CROOKS. I received a rhinoplasty in 2006 and was due back $1000 dollars for a procedure the doctor did not recommend for me. I have a signed letter by the CEO promising me my return. I got nothing. I have sent over a dozen email, no money. I am going back to the country at the end of this year because I love the country so much, but rest assured I will be at that office demanding every penny back!!!!
Has anyone else had any issues with reimbursement and how did you solve the problem?

The cheapest or least expensive plastic surgeon who is board certified and highly recommened that I have been able to find is Dr. Schaffer in Clearwater, FL. I found his website on google and asked a lot of people including the anesthesiologists that work with him and other surgeons. Schaffer seems to be highly recommmended, has very few complications and is super cheap compared to others.
