Kroger recalls tainted bean salad

Grocery chain Kroger Co. said its Inter-American Products unit voluntarily recalled Deli Chef tri-bean salad due to a potential bacterial contamination.

Speaking of Marsh, I heard that they're getting rid of the "plastic", as in "paper or plastic". If that's true, maybe I start shopping there (even with their higher prices) and leave the Kroger family of stores.

Isn't this the second or third recall of a deli salad by Kroger? I remember the recall of potato salad in the summer of 2007. I wonder what foriegn country the green beans came from. Isn't it more than a little dangerous to get our food from other countries? We don't know who is handling it and most countries do not have the same safety and health standards we have in the US.

Oh gawd! I got them Fava Beans coming out of all parts of me. And my dog ate some too and he is sick all over the yard. He's been eating grass but that doesn't seem to help. I feel so bad I think I might eat some grass. I've been to the toilet so many times you could cut the hemmoroids off me like strawberry donuts. I just need to get on the raod road to recovery, here. Maybe it was the undercooked, room temprature shrimps I ate at the Chinese buffet???
