Thanks for the great story Kevin.

I am honored to say I know Phoenix and Elissa. Phoenix is as beautiful in person as she is on the video. What a GREAT example she is for the kids at Children's.

I recently lost my male rott to bone cancer. We had the amputation done, and 3 rounds of IV chemo drugs. It showed up in his cheest(which was clear before surgery) We had another 3 weeks of oral chemo drugs, but found he couldn't use the other rear leg. He was euthanized May 10. I still have his sister. Rotts are the most wonderful dogs. Good luck with Phoenix!

Elissa and Roger had to put Phoenix to sleep this past Friday. She slipped a disc in her back. A truly sad day.

Maybe if the dog had not been sent back to work after losing a leg she would still be alive. You people call your selves animal lovers?
