What a heartwarming story. Thank God there are still people like Pilot Christopher Carlin who'll take the time to do something so wonderful. He and all of those who coordinated Chris's adventure deserve thanks. Soooooo.... Thank all of you for making, not only Chris's day, but for making my day as well. And good luck to Chris on becoming the scientist he wants to be when he grows up.

Hi folks,
This is a great story, but I wish the Met Life folks would get a modern blimp like a Skyship with 12 passenger seats and a bathroom, as the old style A60 Lightship they use is not exactly a modern passenger airship.
If you want to see more on airships, past, present and future see: www.airshipblimp.com or if you just want a helium sniffing laugh try www.airship.me the worlds only lighter than air comedy site, with lots of funny pictures and U tube links fit for all the family.
Regards Bond, James Bond.

I had the pleasure of teaching Chris last year. He is an amazing young man who has done a wonderful job holding his handsome head up during the most horrendous of times. His grace, sense of humor, and smile has been sorely missed at our school.

Congrats, Mr. Man, on your first piloting experience! Looks like you all had a ball!:-)
