I ended my period on Nov 30, and had unprotected sex on Dec 1. I took postinor the day after on Dec 2 and then Dec 5 I started taking amoxil. Dec 7 I started having mild stomach cramps and a brown discharge. May I be pregnant or is it the medicaton?.
Nb. I read that postinor side effects involves spotting and bleeding.

First off... "pulling out" is hardly a good measure for birth control. If he's gonna pull out, then he may as well use a condom. Even if he doesn't "finish" inside, there's always those little dribbles and they can get you preggers, too.
Also, if you stress about being pregnant, it can cause you to miss your period, or have it come late. I know it sounds crazy, but it's true. Stress can really throw your body off.
All you can do now is wait... get a PG test, and take it from there. If you do have unprotected sex (even pullout), then look into a "Morning After" pill. You only have a day or 2 after having sex to take it, so for anyone here it will be too late.
WHENEVER your doctor starts you on a new med, even if it's only for a short time, like an antibiotic, ALWAYS ask if it will interfere with you pill, or any other meds you are on. If you forget to ask your doc, then ask the pharmacist. If you forget to ask while you're there, then call the pharmacy.
Last bit of advice... TELL ALL OF YOUR FRIENDS! Let your girlfriends know about the lowered effects of BCP's while on antibiotics. Who knows? You may save one of them from going through what you are going through now.
Good luck to everyone!
Please, before making glib statements, please do your research. First of all, it is now well researched and publicised that pre cum CANNOT make you pregnant. The instances of failure are due to not pulling out in time and in possible RARE cases, leftover sperm from previous ejaculations, although even this has been thrown in to serious doubt due to the unviability of the sperm in this situation. This makes 'pulling out', when practised properly, statistically as effective, approximately, as condoms. Secondly, there are only two anti biotics that have been shown to have any effect on birth control and they are called Rifampicin and Rifabutin. Relax people.

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Aquarius

If you're a typical Aquarian you're often quite idealistic and today is no exception. You're wandering around on cloud nine, especially if you're thinking about a very special someone, and indulging in all sorts of deliciously romantic daydreams. Reality? You've no time for it right now, because it will intrude too much on your fantasies.
