I have been off of amoxicillin for 9 days, when is it safe to rely on my b/c again? I am on yaz, and started the amoxicillian 3 days into my new pack, and finished the amoxicillin 10 days into my new pack.

Hi I am taking amoxillin and am on 21 day pill which I stopped taking because of the antibiotics. On the third day of my antibiotics my periods came, which is early because they are due for another week. Is this normal

i've been on depo shot, and i just got Rx amox, so will it cut the effectiveness???

i have been on birthcontrol pills for 7 months now and on monday my boyfriend and i had unprotected sex, he pulled out just in case. then, now three days later my doctor started me on amoxicllin and i know it can decreese the effectivness of the pill, is it possible for me to be pregnant if i don't have sex while on the medication even though i did before a few days before I took it?

i have been on amoxycillian for about two weeks now and have just finished. i had unprotected sex towards the end of my period (this was when i wasnt taking the anti-biotic but have had sex during as well). i am know experiencing tummy pains and feeling sick during the day till about 2 but i have been sick and throwing up from my sickness for about a week and just getting over it so i am unsure if the sickness feeling is from me being sick or whether im pregs? i am on the monofeme pill.

I got pregnant on Penicillian and had a miscarriage. I gave my body a month to flush itself out. Well I got back on the pill and 2 months later would up pregnant again. This time I have a beautiful baby boy. I made the mistake of getting the Mirena IUD last week. I was on Amoxicillian throughout the 8 years I was on the pill for acne and had no problems. It was the penicillian from when I had my tooth pulled that started it all. I never thought I would get pregnant on it..... But sure enough I did.

The concept that antibiotics lower birth control effectiveness is largely a myth. Only one antibiotic Rifampin has actually been proven to reduce effectiveness.

I just start to take amoxicillin and I was suppose to start my period on tuesday and it is wednesday. Does this medicine change the affect the way my period cycle is suppose to go or should I wait until next week?

I have been on birth control for almost 2 months. I started to take amoxicillin while still on birth control, and actively having sex without using a condom. I took amoxicillin for about 9 days, and I had sex everyday without a condom. I am suppose to get my period in a couple days. What are the chances of me being pregnant? I was also ovulating through the time I was having sex.
