i am on ortho tri cyclen lo for 3 months i got off the ortho tri cyclen to go on lo and on friday night my partner didn't pull out or put on a condom and know i think there could be a chance i could be pregnant please help

This probably sounds bad, but I just wanted to let you guys hear my story to make you feel better...

I have been on Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo for 7 years and I took it religiously for the first 5 years. The last 2 years I have became very sloppy with it and sometimes skip days at a time and then have to take 4 pills at once. I know this is not healthy and I am trying to get better at it, but I have never became pregnant. I have been with the same guy for years. I think this is a VERY good birth control and has really worked great for me. I know that I have probably just been lucky as well... but I would NEVER take another birth control ever.

For you girls that have only been taking it a couple months, I would stick it out. Those symptoms/concerns are normally the case with any birth control when you first start taking them. It takes a few months to regulate out and your system get in tune with it.

I was taking Ortho Tri Clyclen Lo for 5 years (age 21-26 and I took it everyday at the same time (I'm a little OCD about it) and I got pregnant. Doctor's didn't really have an explanation for it, I might be that 1% (I should start playing the lotto, hee hee) or my body got used to the pill. Either way, sucky situation. My periods lasted 5-7 days and was quite heavy while on OTL, as well.
