Well I've been on this pill for years and aside from painful cramps and some mirgraines its been fine up a few months ago, I'm getting yeast infections while I'm on the pill. i went off for a while and they were gone went back to them in Jan and had have had one every week. I'm guessing its because of the pills . Once i take Nature's cure it clears up but since i'm on the pill comes back within a a week or so. I'm going to ask my doc whats up

Help --my 15 was prescribed Ortho Tri Low Dose Birth Control pills 6 months ago by OB/GYN to treat ovarian cysts. Now, she was found to have an irregular heart rate...extra beat and then a pause. Pediatrician does not seem to be too concerned but wanted to have an EKG to be safe. I asked him if it could be the BC pills the OBGYN prescribed 6 months ago...i heave read concerns about YAS/YASMIN from other users..has anyone experienced irregular heart reates with Ortho Low Dose?

This is only my third day taking OTCL and I'm not sure if I can continue...I called my doctor after feeling EXTREME nausea for two days and she said it was normal because my body was adjusting to the hormones. I'm just not sure if I can handle 1-3 months of it. Anyone else felt this way?? If so, how long before you felt better? I had to lay in bed all day yesterday because of it. Help!!

I tried everything trying to clear up my acne... birth control didn't work, but Clinque Medical (face wash you can get from a dermatologist or probably somewhere that does facials) worked wonders on my face.
As far as this birth control goes, I started out on it in July, everything was fine the first time around, my insurance company always wants me to have the generic brand, so the pharmacy put me on Tri-Lo Sprintec. That was the worst experience of my life, moody, rapid heart beat, convinced I was pregnant, etc... I ended up switching back to the Brand name 4 days into my second pack. I have lost most of the horrible side effects from the Tri Lo, but now I am experiencing extreme nausea and dizziness, abdominal pain, breast tenderness etc... I took a pregnancy test, it came back negative. Now what? Is it just side effects from switching and will it go away? I don't how much more of this I can handle. Has anyone else experienced this?

I took Ortho lo for a year and never had any side effects other than slight light headedness the first week or so. Didnt gain weight, did have mild cramps but felt better than what I was experiencing before the pills. My period never came when it was supposed to, Id get maybe 4 a year that would last for 2 weeks. The pill was the only thing that made it predictable. Now that Im starting again I was thinking of taking regular ortho

hello, yea ive been on otl for almost about a month now, and have gained about 7 lbs...and its usually hard for me to gain any weight, since my metabolism is super fast. Ive had no cramps at all either, which makes my day, they used to be terrible, and since i started ive still had my period for quite a while. And i keep eating throughout the day, i just seem to be getting hungry every couple of minutes and i just snack on things.

I am pregnant - 12 weeks. I took the pill at the same time every day and never missed a dose. Now I am pregnant. My Dr. said it happens all the time. Actually, she got pregnant on this pill. She is going to stop using it on her patience!- I would switch before you end up prego like me.

I've been taking ortho tri cyclen lo for four days now and I noticed that my feet, hands, and arms fall asleep more often. This has happened with every type of birth control pill I've ever tried. For example, if I'm on the phone for a long time, my arm falls asleep. I read that leg or arm numbness are serious signs of a stroke but I was wondering if this falling asleep of my limbs could be considered "numbness." Since I'm under 35 and am not overweight, I decided to brush this off as just my body adjusting to the pill.I do tend to be a worrywart so I was wondering if other women had experienced this side effect as well?

You should take a pregnancy test! Since its been 4weeks, a test should show up positive if you are prego.

I have had a discharge since i was pregnant with my son over 2 years ago, ive been taking otl since i had my son and i still have this discharge. nothing unusual, ive talked to my doctor about it several times. i have also felt depressed, upset, start arguements for no reason, and have NO sex drive at all! My doctor told me that i should stop taking the pill completely for 3 months to see if i notice a change. She said all of my symptoms can be caused by my birth control. Hope this helps!

I am liking being on Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo. I switched to it because my doctor told me it might increase my dead sex drive and it has! During the first two weeks I would get dizzy and nauseated almost like morning sickness, but I never experienced spotting and my period stayed normal. I have gotten slightly more acne and I've seen some mild bloating especially around the middle. So here's my question: my left breast has gone from a low B to a high C and my right breast has stayed the same! Has anyone had this issue? Will they balance out on their own? I like this pill and don't want to have to switch but I'm having trouble adjusting to my new-found asymmetry.

I'm 25 yrs old and I just started taking OTL 2 days ago. I take it w/food at lunchtime every day. I've felt so sick and so nauseous!:( I used to take this pill 6 yrs ago in college and I don't remember having any of these symptoms! This sucks! I've been reading that it will go away after 2 weeks but I don't wanna go thru this for 2 weeks! Men have it so much better. I swear. lol.

Oh and for the record, when I took it 6yrs ago, it balanced out my period to the day. Nice. I didn't gain weight. Good cuz I'm skinny and always have been. One of my boobies IS a 1/2 cup size bigger than the other and I never thought it could've been from the pill but looking back on when it happened....hmmmm. I wonder. But it's normal to have uneven boobies. Just a lil though. lol.
