Hi all,

http://your-qp.blogspot.com/

I have created a unique poll to help understand which atypical anti-psychotic medication is most widely used for Schizophrenia / Bipolar disorder and other mental health problems...When i say unique , i mean it will block repeat voters...So what it means to you ? Each single user will have only ONE SINGLE UNIQUE opportunity to select
his most effective medication of choice ...I hope this makes sense.

So go ahead and please participate?

Thanks,

The problem with your poll is most people with Bipolar Disorder have gone through or will go through several different medications, I currently take Invega 3mg daily, Seroquel 100mg daily and Benztropine .5mg twice a day. and I've been on or tried more than 40 different medications and varying doses for the past 15yrs, this is just what is working ok now. I don't think there is any one that is better than the other, it depends on the person and their body chemistry.

I tried seroquel, it helped with my bi-polar, but the side effects were so serious that I had to go off it. Lithium helped my bi-polar, ambify,as did several other medications but the side effects were too harsh. I am now on effexor 450 mg, topomax three times daily [? mg] zanax 3 to 4 times daily 1 mg, lamicatil twice daily ? mg. I am not allowed control of my meds, since I ODed once. Even these do not take away the problems. But each person must work with their doctor to find the right combination, it took forever to figure out mine.

depressed, I ODed, and I tell my doctor { with her advise} what Medication I will and won't take. I research the Med's myself, you should know whats going in your body, most medication prescribed for mental conditions they do not know why they work ! Really they do not know why most medications work ! It's your body and brain they are messing with, I say If you have no input on what Med's you take it's time for a different doctor. I took over after some really bad experiences with some Med's that sent me to the hospital.I believe to have the best life you can with Bipolar Disorder you have to get a handle on it and that means making informed decisions your self for Treatment and Medications, that also means you have to do a little work to check out things for your self. This works for me. Dentec

Daily Horoscope for December 25

Aries

You've got a taste for adventure today, so you might decide to depart from tradition in some way and make it an unusual Christmas. You're certainly all set for a great time, and you'll want everyone else to enjoy themselves as much as possible. You'll probably eat and drink too much but, hey, it's Christmas! Isn't such excess par for the course?
