Hi Simon, Alex, Blake, Richard and all my other friends on here.
I have started my own little page so i will tell you about things that i think you would be interested in.

As you know i have Jimmy staying with me this week so today he has gone off to school wearing one of the pull up nappies his mum send with him as she lets him wear a Dri-nite at night. I thought that he could pull them down and use the toilet if he needed as my day nappies you can’t refit once you have pulled the tapes off. The only thing you can do is to use them. With pulls up on he might be able to keep dry and it will be easier to get rid of them when he comes home as his mum will be here to collect him tonight. He has taken a spare with him.

Hope u r all well and have a great weekend, Dean.

Hi Simon, thanks 4 posting on my page.

Yes a good family aroud u 2 support u is defianiatly what u need and u got one my boy. i hope u r all well again now.

Hope by now the washing machine is all working but they should give u a new one as the other one went wrong and its still new. i have a new one and u cant even open the door unless u push a button and it does it 4 u.

i dont go 2 school now but still have 2 do reports 4 them all the time. i too have to do things like essays and i am doing one at the moment all about 'How to take care of me'. that will be about 30 pages long as it goes through every hour of the day telling someone what they have to do to me all the time. i have been working on it for 6 weeks now and i am only half finnished and it should be in by christmass, i wont make it.

i have other tests as well, i have a lady inspect me and my flat every friday morning 2 make sure it and i am clean. i also had 2 show them that i can get from the floor onto a chair then slide into my wheel chair or go from floor to a bed. it is hard when u first start. i can do it now but it hurts my arms a lot.

the weather hear is frosty and very cold all day and they give snow later today in east anglia where i live. where u live u have lots of snow i think?

we r getting Nothly winds of the sea, very blo**y cold.

i grew up in a boys care home so know what it feels like to be assulted but that is a part of my life i do not want to talk about to anyone.

i have a friend that now has to wear nappies but a year ago he was fine, well apart from likeing to watch me get my nappy changed in school. he fell of his bike and hit his head and it made him so he couldnt hear so he went to my special school for year last year and that was where we met for the first time. now we r good friends and i go 2 his 4 sleepovers. we r about the same fisical size but brain wise he is a bit clever than me. his mum and dad treats me like his brother but a younger brother that still needs to be nappied. i like his parents and him of course.

he was staying with me all last week as his Nan got here house damaged by strong wids we had and his dad had 2 work and his mum whent 2 help his Nan get the hpuse better. he has gone home now and i will be busy now as we get closer 2 christmas. still waiting 2 go into hospital myself for an opp.

was the meal vannessa cooked a good one? is she a good cook? i wont tell her if u say NO, lol.

have a great weekend, Dean.

Same here, just saying hi, and its great you have your own page, Dean, I think it is a great idea, but I'm sticking with hi im charlotte as my main talking page, as most new threads get infested with AB's, most DL's I can stand, one for example you, you can keep that nasty DL crap under control, so just stopping by to say hi, talk to you later Dean.

Hi everyone, i am very busy now with all the christmas entertaining i wan't to do but it is exciting.

i have got to see my Dr this morning so today will be busy.

Yesterday I went off to the car boot to get some more things and I am very pleased with the things that I had been able to buy. I have bought myself a wooden clothes rack; it all folds up but when extended it is about 6 foot high and freestanding. I can put that out on my patio when it is sunny and hang some things on it to try and get them dry. The sun doesn’t shine on my clothes line anymore as the house next door shades it. I am hoping that between the indoors rack and the rack I now have outside I can get my clothes dry. I then bought another nice game, this is called,‘Who wants to be a millionaire?’ You possibly know it as they play it on television. It has lots of cards with questions on and the questions get harder the more money you earn by answering them. I had a little go and I can answer the easy ones but it will be fun when granddad and Nan and Bryan and Sandra come down. We can all play it and I will learn from the questions being asked what the answers are. So it will be a good thing for me to learn from as well as fun to play.

For some time I had been thinking about getting a holly wreath to put on mum's grave at Christmas. I have been looking in the shops but they were about £12 and did not look very nice. There was a stall on the car boot sale this morning with some lovely Holly wreaths on, so I bought one. It is made a real Holly and has artificial flowers and a nice ribbon bow tied around it. It will look great on mum's grave and it only cost me £5.50 p. There were lots of different ones but this one looked the best to me. So I am very pleased with it. I will show granddad and Nan but most importantly, I will give it to Bryan and Sandra and hopefully we can place it on mum's grave. I managed to get everything I wanted and in only cost me seven pounds so I still have plenty left to go shopping next week. I will need another £14 to pay for the wine on Monday morning and the rest I will have to spend on wrapping paper and all the things I will need for next weekend.

I will be very busy this week preparing and cooking everything and I am hoping to decorate up my lounge today complete with my tree with all its lights on. I must also, at some stage, start to do my Christmas cards so I'm very busy now so hope the hospital don't call me in.

have a great week, bye, Dean.

I don't think my bro will get me the top, he doesn't like the style of the shirt, I don't know what I'm going to get him though, but he doesn't seem like he'll get me the shirt, but I'll never know, he may be keeping it secret, knowing how he celebrates Christmas, like a sneaky rat, he may get me the top. My week hasn't been so great, I have all that posted already in hi im charlotte, talk to you later Dean,

Hi Dean and Emily, I hope your UTI clears up soon Emily. Are you on antibiotics? I can only remember having a UTI once, and I only found out then cause I had a routine urine test. It didn't hurt at all like Dean's UTIs do. I looked it up and it said that it can cause stinging when you pee, but that didn't happen to me even though I pee small amounts frequently (at least every half hour) in my nappy. I suppose it could be my CP which stops me feeling it stinging, just like it stops me feeling when I need a pee.
Anyway, enough of that. I like your new thread Dean.
Richard.
Hi Richard, thaks and welcome aboard.
yes i get UTI a lot and they do realy hurt. i think it's bcause i poop my nappy as well as wee and that causes the infections and it can b very dangerous. it can lead 2 other thinks as the infection is inside and caan afect you kidnies and things bad. but antiboiocktics normalld do the trick but i cant take them orially as i cant eat or drink so they put them i my arm on a drip thats y i have 2 go into hospital when i get them.

sunny here this morning so i'm now off to do some shopping and i have a very busy week so will talk again when i can. have a great week everyone, Dean.

Hi Chase, you don't know about your brother, he might just be saying that so I would wait until the day to see as he might well sneak back in by so it's a nice surprise for you. I do hope so anyway. I hope soon that things get better for you.

Hi Dean, you're probably right that it's pooping your nappies that causes you to have have lots of UTIs. I only wet my nappies and I've read that if you're healthy, your urine is sterile, so unless you stay in the same wet nappy for a long time so that the urine becomes stale and infected by bacteria, wet nappies shouldn't give you UTIs.
I suppose that if you can't help pooping your nappies, it's best to change and clean up as soon as possible to avoid UTIs.
Anyway, enough of nasty things like UTIs.
I hope you're well.
Richard.
