"ABOUT 2500 people from all walks of life benefitted (sic) from a drug-free chiropractic health care (sic) offered by a group of US Chiropractic (sic) in Labasa over the weekend."
"People with knee and back pain, muscle cramps, head aches and other complications were relieved when the resident doctors from Palmer College of Chiropractic offered them free of charge health services at the civic centre on Saturday."
Okay, let's see.....
To begin with, these are not "resident doctors" ....they are merely a bunch of chiropractic students from Palmer whose entire clinical experience was in the "Student Clinic."
So now we have several hundred likely poor and potentially seriously ill people in Fiji who will receive some kind of quack treatment......likely with no diagnostic evaluation, no followup, and no referral to competent medical care since now "the body will heal itself."
Is there no moral obligation to provide appropriate care for desperate souls who are grateful to be treated by a doctor and whose only crime is that they are poor and uneducated?
Where is the outrage?
