The above tool, "wisdom", who absolutely is not a critical care doctor (but he plays one on TV--he he) does NOT know what he's talking about. Five chiropractic colleges offer extensive post graduate studies in treating addictions. The tool did not know this since he's out of touch, and well, just a plain liar. He does NOT know about chiropractic continuing education. Nothing at all. He's not the sharpest knife in the drawer.
Now go back to your 'critical care doctor job'. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HA HA HA HA HA HA HA AH AH HA HA HA HA

What were MDs doing for addictions and mental illnesses in the 19th, 20th, and currently in the 21st century? Apparently, you know little of this. Have you heard of insulin shock therapy? Lobotomies? Methadone? Antabuse? ECTs? How effective have they been? At what cost, financially and otherwise? Wisdom you have not.

Wait just a minute, you lost me there. The incidence of suicide and so called mental illness has not improved with the heavy usage of psychoactive drugs. More people are saved from suicide and violence by concerned friends, family, and clergy than psychiatrists. More people are addicted to methadone in addition to street drugs since the usage of methadone. Addiction rates are increasing. More mass murderers were on medically prescribed psychotropic medications before the eruption, than incidents where the shooter was not. Recall that Adam Lanza's lists of medications were not released by the Connecticut authorities because "it would foster medication non compliance in those prescribed psychiatric medications." Mr Holmes, here in Colorado, was followed by a psychiatrist and had been on a prescribed regimen.

For anyone to claim lobotomies and insulin shock therapy saved lives is either untruthful or very ignorant. I just might add, with each new generation of psychotropic drug comes more serious side effects. It is now very common for consumers prescribed medications such as Zyprexa to gain over forty pounds in a year and develop DMII with little or no improvement in their symptoms. I have seen it, first hand. I am shock to read the cavalier attitude someone would take supporting such barbaric practices from the past as lobotomies or insulin shock therapy. You should just stick to castigating what you claim to be an authority on. You lost my interest in what you had to say.

The way I see it, both shrinks and back crackers are bogus. I do think shrinks steal more and actually do harm. It cracks me up (pun intended) when they are paid expert witnesses at various trials. They can be conned so easily by sociopaths and three disparate ones will have three disparate opinions, all equally worthless. The DSM-V is a bigger joke than the previous manuals as they are all politically influenced and drug company sponsored.

"More people are saved from suicide and violence by concerned friends, family, and clergy than psychiatrists."

Your point?

Also, I believe Adam Lanza was off his meds. Or maybe he should have gone to a chiropractor for auricular therapy?

You sound like you know very little about psychiatry and the billions of dollars being spent on research by some of the most dedicated and intelligent scientists and physicians. Probably you know as much about "chiropractic" .... NOTHING.

But, like chiropractors who bash medicine until they get sick, you all will run to the medical experts when you or your family members are struck with serious psychiatric disorders.

Its obvious you can't appreciate the very serious nature of psychiatric disorders. Dismissing medicine for disorders such as schizophrenia and mania is beyond ignorant.

I can tell you, if you will allow, shrinks have poor track records in diagnosis and prediction of violent behavior. In point of fact, family support and an ear to listen have saved more lives than psychiatrists. The main function of a psychiatrist at present is to prescribe pills and/or perform a political and social purpose as the ones who are employed in torture and experimentation for the government. Have you heard of Ewen Cameron, psychic driving, and the present manifestations in our current engagements? How, exactly, do you know Mr. Lanza was off his medication? By all accounts, he was heavily medicated as Mr. Holmes was. Otherwise, why seal the records and make the statement about the negative consequences of disclosure for those so ordered on these medications?
There are indeed many who have worked the field in professional capacities and know well the sham of psychiatry. Stick with what you know. As successful chiropractor says, you are a critical care MD in your postings and nowhere else.

You obviously know NOTHING about serious psychological disorders such as schizophrenia and manic depressive disorders if you think that listening to them is the "answer". That is beyond stupid. You have a lot to learn.

Your boy "IL chiro" has claimed that as a chiropractor he is expertly trained in wound care, psychiatric disorders like add and adhd, cardiology, and eczema and yet you could care less. He uses a spring loaded clicker known as the activator to "cure and fix disease causing subluxations" and you have no problem with him? That's quackery, pure and simple.

Fact, NONE of the most used "chiropractic techniques" have any legitimate research or evidence to support their use. NONE. Yet here you are taking sides with a quack. Funny.

I think it my duty to expose the ubiquitous fraud in chiropractic. if not me, who?
