Oh the quackery in chiropractic continues. Now this quack is claiming he can lower your cholesterol by "adjusting " your spine. A one person study and now this quack is making outrageous claims. No research, no evidence, no nothing.
Dumb ass ignorant chiropractors have not be investigated

"In 1992, a retrospective study was conducted, and cholesterol lab values were taken on ten randomly selected subjects over a three-year period. Results showed that LDL and total cholesterol decreased in 70 percent of the subjects, bringing 80 percent of the subjects originally classified as borderline high to high-risk down to desirable levels following chiropractic care."
The chiropractor in no way shape or form is stating that he can cure or lower anything. He presented what happened and said that there may be a correlation.
If you at any respect anatomically educated you would understand that postural muscles are controlled by your ANS and that any muscle that crosses a joint innervates it as well. Not to mention that disuse and immobility of joints proves to alter receptor activity and induce degenerative changes in as little as 10da.
There is much unknown about this and the effects on manipulation. There are 10,000 of thousands of reports about chiropractic eliciting the reduction of symptomology. It is not only known there is a connection of the viscera to MSK system, lets stop bashing every and each post that presents a case study reporting what happened.
Explain to me Wisdom how Psychogenic illness and diseases are present with no visible pathology. Yet you love to spout your rants over and over when the fact is that there is so much not known in the medical world. 244

Hard to know where to start. There is NO legitinate evidence that "adjustments", however they are performed,(nucca?, sot? gonstead?) can lower cholesterol.
Orhto, your above post is totally irrelevant and has nothing to do with claiming that a chiropractor can lower cholesterol with "adjustments" (which, by the way, are NOT described and should raise a red flag right away).
Like Wisdom says, the nonsense must end.

The quotations are straight from the article and I make a valid point.

Hey dumb ass, the chiropractor posted this bizarre claim to imply that he and his adjustments can lower cholesterol levels. And that is total BS.
Too bad you're not smart enough to denounce such stupidity.
There was no point to your post, other than, like the quack in the article, imply that adjustments do lower cholesterol levels. And they do not. Period end of story.
But feel free to persist with your ignorant posts. Youre just another chiropractic apologist.

he he The astute poster 'wisdom' who falsely claims he has over twenty university degrees including DC, MD, Phd, and countless BS and master's degrees, uses words and phrases like 'dumb ass','diaper','moron', and 'quack' to express himself. You would think one of those 20 plus degrees should have been in English and anger management. he he he
Here, I'll use a word this clown can undertand--dope. Wisdom is a dope. Sums it up.

I just recently had a blood cholesterol test done and when I got my results, my level was down 30pts from last year with no conscience changes!I thought it must be wrong. But it is not. My level was 194 than 205, than 174 this year! I don't know what diet changes I have made, but I do know I have gone for regular chiropractic adjustments since Jan 2012. Just makes me wonder!

Well!! no doubt that cholesterol is not good for health. It is bad because it causes fat. So we should avoid the use of food which causes cholesterol. So We must avoid using it before consulting a chiropractor :)

Sorry Melissa....you should read up on a topic, such as cholesterol before you make such ignorant statements. Yes excessive amounts of cholesterol by intake of fatty foods and produced by the body is detrimental for overall health...however a significant amount is needed for ones natural overall metabolism of the human body. Read up on it next time. "So we must avoid using it before consulting a chiropractor"????.....you sure are one brain-washed puppy. Do you work for a Chiro-QUACKER?....because sure....Chiroquackers are the authority on the subject of cholesterol...I think not.

In case you missed it, on another post cody said this about a woman, "Melissa....do us all a favor and STOP posting here. You don't have a clue regarding ChiroQUACTIC.....you either work for one or are doing one."
Can you imagine a bigger louse and sexist jerk?
Cody has zero power and zero authority over anyone. He's nothing and he's stupid.
I'm going to remind everyone, hundreds and hundreds of times, how cody disprespects women by copy and pasting that post he said about a woman.
Then we'll see how much others respect this moron.
