Jan 9, 2013 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: Examiner.com

It is well established that early identification and intervention are critical determinants in the course and outcome of autism spectrum disorders .

It's a coincidence. Around the time the first vaccines are given children first develop coughs and flu and often get their first dose of anti-biotics.
Current studies from Imperial College London indicate there may be an influence of changing gut flora from anti-biotics that cause some children pre-disposed to autism to develop symptoms. You may have watched the recent 4 corners program? there is no association with vaccines.
Ear infections are a vaccine side effect and show how vaccines negatively affect the immune system. Then those who make faulty, fraudulent vaccines destroy their gut flora (an important part of the immune system) with more garbage they make. No coincidence except to those who need to deny wrongdoing and causation to avoid lawsuit. One has to be quite brain dead to not understand there is a connection between vaccines and autism.

Although Wakefield never was the one who claimed he found the 'cause', he also never corrected the media once the media suggested the cause was found. Wakefield was directly asked why he didn't correct the media back then, and went on to run with it, by Matt Lauer. By Wakefield's own actions, he fooled the public.
Wakefield was not given whistle blower treatment and isn't it funny how anti vaxxers use that as an excuse for Wakefield's fraudulant study? Parents, such as the above anti vaxxer, is an exampled of a fooled person, and the motivation is a big pay-day. They support this fraud Wakefield and rely only on him, whose study only have 12 participants and no controls, and the study was done so those 12 parents could sue and get a pay day. That alone proves at least 12 parents were part of a conspiracy that led to world wide conspiracy just to be difficult. They are now termed 'anti vaxxers' with no evidence but Wakefield to support their unfounded claim. Anti vaxxers could care less Wakefield conducted painful evasive tests on them and almost killed the young boy within the study who was only 5 years old at the time of Wakefield's debunked study.
More garbage from friend. Just makes it up and spews blah blah.

According to the US government website you posted - A vaccine, like any medicine, is capable of causing serious problems, such as severe allergic reactions. The risk of MMR vaccine causing serious harm, or death, is "extremely small".
Having said that I am intrigued by the statistics on MMVR that 1 in 5 babies will develop fever, 1 in 250 will develop seizures and 4 in 1000 000 develop brain damage. I was not previously aware the MMVR can risk brain seizure! always assumed it was inflammation and swelling followed by physiological reactions (not the brain!).
Having said that the MMVR was not around when the autism outbreak started in the 1980s and 1990s.
Beg your pardon gov'ner thats exactly when it was introduced and thats when regressive autism began and autism numbers went from 1 in 10,000 to today's 1 in 64 Britain, 1 in 38 South Korea, 1 in 88 USA. Vaccines can cause seizures and death, so how anyone can casually conclude autism isn't possible is dumb. My autistic son has seizures, get it?

There he goes again, with autism rates, which proves nothing. Those who have epilepsy (seizures) can result in brain damage if longer than 20 minutes. Hello. Vaccines can cause seizures at the time of injection or soon after, not YEARS of seizures. Get it?

Ok so vaccines effect the immune system, how does that cause autism? Autism is a neuro problem

Its not a neuro problem. It appears that way but more and more research suggests auto-immune connection with the gut.

If one believes Wakefield (which anti vaxxers do) Autism then cant be a neuro disorder. It's a colitis disorder, per the 1998 study. And colitis wouldn't account for seizures.

I pegged you correctly, and it came off the top of my head. You claim it's not a neuro disorder based on a study which was withdrawn and found fraudulent. Wakefield's 12 participants also did not have seizures.

I can understand your scepticism but there is not the slightest doubt that autism and related disorders like aspergers is increasing, vaccination could be one cause as well as the multitude of chemicals that we come in contact with environmentally. Never before in mankinds history have we come in contact with so many toxic chemicals.

I question the rates you are posting. Even if you include the entire spectrum of autism (including the now defunct Aspergers) then the global rate is still only 1 in 200 according to a review conducted in 2012. The 1 in 10000 was relating to old statistics relating to low functioning autism in boys. Previously high functioning autistics and girls went undiagnosed because they were misdiagnosed.

I am sorry about your son, I also have an autistic child. However seizures only affects 30-40% of autistics. Have you tried gluten/casein free diet? multivitamin and omega-3 suppliments also help. I think there is more currency in the gut flora hypothesis and you can help the child now. Vaccines (even if they were the cause) means the horse has already bolted and keft the stable.

Thats the thing, denial is all the naysayer's have. They are only forced to truly face the truth in class action lawsuits, so the USA government intervened. Canada has made it impossible to win a case and keeps all info on autism out of the media.

Sid- I never said I doubted the autism increase. Hello. What I said is it proves nothing. You also have to consider how those rates are obtained, and cultures like Korea, which many countries hid their disabled.

There is yet to be an explanation as to why vaccines or chemicals wouldn't effect equally. It doesn't explain why according to your own link, boys are almost five times as likely as girls to get such a diagnosis

No dumbo I claim it because of actual research that indicates it an autoimmune issue. How bout that, vaccines are supposed to boost the immune system, but instead alter its ability to function normally.

Told ya it was all about money for this anti vaxxer. And it's untrue about autism in the Canada media. Plenty of articles come from Canada.

The 1st link really isn't info, it contains no references to science. At the bottom of Winnipeg's 2nd link:
"There is no conclusive evidence of a link between autoimmune disease and autism. Recent studies show conflicting results".
Too bad he doesn't read the articles in full.
