"Twenty epidemiologic studies have shown that neither thimerosal nor MMR vaccine causes autism. These studies have been performed in several countries by many different investigators who have employed a multitude of epidemiologic and statistical methods. The large size of the studied populations has afforded a level of statistical power sufficient to detect even rare associations. These studies, in concert with the biological implausibility that vaccines overwhelm a child's immune system, have effectively dismissed the notion that vaccines cause autism. Further studies on the cause or causes of autism should focus on more-promising leads."

One big difference. Wakefield was found guilty, unemployed and not a USA citizen.
ORAC and Offit have jobs and are tax-paying citizens who don't waste their time like anti vaxxers and Wakefield do, spreading changing unfounded hypotheses and don't care about Wakefield's cult followers.

Yet again Winnipeg reveals where he get's his info from. One link is just another forum. One is just random and has no sources sited, just unconfirmed scare tactics. One has a list of 20 bogus uncomfirmed items, the only true item is the dates Comp Court was created. Last link is a blog which isn't current. Gotta love the Formaldehyde info "10% of the general population may be susceptible to formaldehyde and may react acutely at any exposure level." One, your own body produces more Formaldehyde in a day than what is in a vaccine and the Federal list mentioned is of industrial exposures, not medical exposures. Half if not all the links on the page don't work and yes, thimerosal was removed from all childhood vaccines no matter what any random sites tries to state otherwise. Even the flu vac comes thimerosal-free.
