A new study published in the March issue of Autism Research from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and Le Bonheur researchers is making the genetic connections between autism and Chromosome 15q Duplication Syndrome .

"making the genetic connections between autism and Chromosome 15q Duplication Syndrome (Dup15q).
The Memphis researchers determined that the maternally derived or inherited duplication of the region inclusive of the UBE3A gene (also known as the Angelman/Prader-Willi syndrome locus) are sufficient to produce a phenotype on the autism spectrum in all ten maternal duplication subjects.

Chromosome 15q Duplication Syndrome (Dup15q) results from duplications of chromosome 15q11-q13. Duplications that are maternal in origin often result in developmental problems."

Nope, no vaccines here. Looks like many are misdiagnosed.

Study 'identifies''genetic' connections is not hypothetical.
Nice try.

hahaha, yes making connection, only 1-3 percent in all autism cases. even if you take all 1000 other genetic contributions you account for 15 percent of all autism cases. meaning for 85 percent no genetic cause. we go back to vaccines and autism+narcolepsy.

Unfortunately for you, all the subjects produce a phenotype on the autism spectrum. So as they may limit their view to 1 to 3 percent, just wait.
Duplication 15q is the second most common duplication in autism.
We then go back to 85 percent being misdiagnosed and narcolepsy having nothing at all to do with any thing.

How many years have they tried to fit a square peg in a round hole? Words like connected mean nothing when they then say as many as 1,000 genes may be involved overall. Its denovo meaning spontaneous meaning after a series of faulty, fraudulent vaccines children were never the same. It doesn't take a mountain of change, just a toxic load.

Better get your medical book out and find out the definition of De Novo! What a riot! Previous work sites 1000 genes, this specific study is talking about maternally derived or inherited findings, and further states the knowledge that duplications that are maternal in origin often result in developmental problems. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out vaccines has nothing to do with it.

One cant argue science. In your case it's not an argument. It's out right denial of the scientific evidence right in front of your face and a 'WEAK' attempt to transform a study into a vaccine caused autism.

Whats a riot is you are so blind. You believe any hypothetical nonsense is true and proven. Studies and reports on maybe this, possibly that are not proof goof. This is just more "born with it" "blame the victims" science.

Genetics isn't blaming anyone. There are some people who just cant handle knowing genes caused something in their child and it's clear and quite sad you're one of those people. It would be nice to be born a perfect person. But that's not reality. People are born with medical issues every day, and there is no one to blame.
Not sure where you're making up the 'maybe's' and 'possibly that', but the only 'hypothetical nonsense study' is Wakefield's and the only study which you and anti vaxxer think is true and proven, and cling to.

More with the Wakefield. What about the 1,000 studies proving no connection between vaccines and autism? Where are they? Its always Wakefield, a weak 12 children medical intervention that was never allowed to proceed because the media frightened parents and an MMR that was rejected by Canada over SAFETY ISSUES was being shunned by these parents. Wakefield was labelled the ANTI-VAC MESSIAH and targeted for punishment so weeak minded parents and other researchers got the message. It all failed, Britain's uptake of MMR is still low even though they lie about it. Parents have been put in the position of risking their chil's whole life/future because vaccines are not safe. Many will not gamble on these faulty products.

There are no '1000' studies. You exaggerate that figure and it's rather funny. There are studies out there however, quite a few and from other countries. The fact is, you only rely on one single study and that is Wakefield's. Every and any other study you call garbage. Although the MMR vaccine may be lower in some area's, guess what? The autism rates still seem to be rising!
Wakefield was not 'targeted'. He actually had conflict of interest to start with, and his own big mouth did himself in, admitting his wrong-doing in the study. He foolishly thought he was above and consequences. But who really cares, he's old news. Anyone can choose not to vaccinate and many will based on mass hysteria of the Wakefield after-math still today. No one cares, until they travel to another country and bring back the measles and infect others.
