The authors caution that these findings must be balanced against the treatment benefits for women who require valproate for epilepsy control.

And what about the millions of women who NEVER took these drugs? Or any other. Or weren't obese or cold, or smoked or used cell phones or had older husbands or who babies didn't watch TV or play video games?
