MMR: A mother's victory. The vast majority of doctors say there is no link between the triple jab and autism, but could an Italian court case reignite this controversial debate? Landmark ruling in an Italian court has said Valentino Bocca's autism was provoked by the MMR jab he had at aged nine months His parents have already been awarded 140,000 ... (more)

You read the article?
"disability was provoked by the inoculation against measles, mumps and rubella (MMR)."

Strangley, the child had Gastroenteritis a month prior to the MMR.

Anti vaxxers always adds more to it than there really is.

This court ruling means very little and certainly doesn't make anyone angry.

Just read the article. It gives a lot of info.

Since autism has no medical tests (just observation of behaviors) it's difficult to know if this child really has autism, or a known side effect of the MMR vaccine, like encephalitis which can occur with natural exposure to the measles as well. The most common encephalitis attacks the base of the brain responsible for emotions and many other basic functions. It could appear very much like autism, but it is not.

This Italy case only confirms vaccines carry side effects, and every medicine and vaccine does carry a risk of side effects. There's no proof this vaccine causes autism, and this case certainly doesn't proof it.

Encephalitis is not autism. That's why they call it Encephalitis. If you were correct, then just getting the measle's would cause autism! You obviously don't think things through before talking.
Nice try at misinfo.

Oh look a court deems vaccines caused autism in a boy from Itally. That is front page news.

Oh look, a topic where all your posts have been removed!
The courts did not say vaccines 'caused' that childs autism, either. Even if it had, which it didn't, a court for compensation is not scientific proof. Hello and nice try.

It is what it is, a legal, registered, expert opinion of a link between vaccines and autism. Sucks eh?

It's not illegal and even if it was, so sue them. Wakefield tried it.

It isn't about vaccines causing autism, but I bet Mr. Garbage from Winnipeg didn't read the whole 57 page document of the civil suit, about the mumps or the claims that civil suit makes. Don't hold your breath on this suit.

Yet again Mr Garbage of Winnipeg, Canada hasn't even read his own link. It is yet another conspiracy theory site and the article isn't even about vaccines causing autism.
You and friend are a joke. There are studies listed that you both say don't exist plus court cases and charges of fraud. No wonder you two imbeciles can't see the truth.

No one here ever said such studies don't exist, primarily because it has nothing to do with causing autism. Hello and nice attempt at lying.
What the joke is did you look at any of those 'studies'? I bet not. That civil suit claims those mumps outbreaks were in high vaccinated population. Cant wait until the evidence shows individually who had the mumps in those 2006 and 2009 outbreaks, and who didn't have vaccines. Also the civil suit doesn't address the deaths which occured from contracting the mumps.
Thanks for sharing that link, the civil suit itself deomonstrates the diseases becoming present when people choose not to vaccinate.

Aside from that, Encephalitis can happen from contracting the measles, or any viral or bacterial infection. It just doesn't arise due to a vaccine. The risk is there either way but a far lower risk with a vaccine due to the vaccine having a weakened virus.

You forgot that one it has nothing to do with the civil suit you posted about the mumps. Two encephalitis can occur at any age. Three the most common causes listed are not vaccines and best of all four, it has nothing to do with autism.

To sum up, its completely plausable the correlation is correct, that mmr causes autism. Well said. Theres a first for everything.

Where is your evidence that 1 in 1,000 is a lie? You haven't got any have you? Millions of kids get the MMR vaccination every year, but only a tiny percentage get ADEM. Kids who aren't vaccinated and end up getting measles are far more likely to get ADEM.
So you admit that your accusations about vaccines causing autism are purely down to your unsubstantiated extrapolations. You can reach any conclusion you wish about absolutely anything by using unsubstantiated extrapolations. You could conclude that monkeys live on Mars, but it wouldn't make it true, Mr Garbage.
Where's your proof? I extrapolate and conclude you are an imbecile.
