I was living near the Royal Free Hospital in London when the MMR : late onset autism debate was happening. I delayed the vaccination for my boy until he was 5 because of my concerns. He has recently been diagnosed with Aspergers (+dyspraxia)6 years later. Since I had my second son I KNOW the vaccination had nothing to do with ASD. I had my second boy vaccinated routinely for MMR and will have them both vaccinated for swine flu as soon as it is available. I have listened to many debates on this topic and conclude that there are a minority of parents who feel they have to have something / someone to blame for a diagnosis. In real life this isn't always the case. Sometimes these things happen - one day we might get a clearer view as to why, but until then, the consequences for avoiding vaccination are more tangible and measured.
Firstly I respect your choice and oyur right to choose which drug and vaccine can be and was given.

Please consider this, some poeple can and do react to whatever vaccine ingredient for what ever reason.

The amount of hysteria that confronts those parents that have endured a vaccine related adverse effect even with supporting evidence is amazing to say the least.

There are test that can demonstrate the reaction that a person may have if given Thimerisol, and other ingredients, but sadley these tests are not widley known about or even promoted for that matter.

I reapeat, even with written evidence there are many that still choose to live in denial, Forum poster "Friend" may respond with evidence who's evidence. I simply say actual evidence and aggrement that the wrong thing was done with a denial of it's actual consequences.

You may choose your medicine or drug and then pay the price or enjoy the beifit, but when another has chosen the medicine or drug for you wheather not you needed it and you are paying the price, this can only be called MAJOR Mal Practice.

One: leave me out of this. I have often said vaccines are not safe for everyone and it's a personal choice to make.
Two: the MMR never ever contained Thimerosal, ever so why bring up Thimerosal when this person was talking about the MMR?
Three: it seems this JCaul came up with their own parental 'evidence' and instead of denying what they found, why not accept it?

Four: did you get permission to repost some one elses comments to another area? Try reading this sites TOS.

No. I did not get permission. I appoligise for any distress caused to one and all.
Thanks for the heads up. I will make efforts to get permission in future.

As with many things in life, policy seems to get in the way of information sharing.

In responce to your first point; You may now consider youirself left out of this.

Well the information you 'shared' was an opinion, and useless to what the person was sharing to begin with. The story goes so many people avoided the MMR and their child had autism just the same. People avoided vaccines totally and their child still has autism. Looking and blaming one potential source is foolish and limiting.

Sorry about being left out, you're the one who so thoughtfully included me. I had the impression you wanted my comment. If you want evidence, find it yourself or offer some. You've been posting around for years but never offer any. Just remember any bodies 'evidence' doesn't mean it would apply to every human soul.

Friend: You always throw out numbers like you have CDC data base. MMR vaccinated vs. not vaccinated and autism. If real can you show us the data?

It is a know fact: The MMR and DPT are probably the most case reported inducing agents of autism.

I don't need to show you anything nor convince you of anything. It's you whose trying to convince others with 'known' facts, so why don't YOU provide those facts and data??

That also has nothing to do with a parents personal experience, which you're obviously not accepting.

Friend:

Are you mental! It seems to run in your family. Then you are right. So is the so called CDC. Autism is genetic 110% in your case. All their reasoning is applicable in your case.

But for many many others. Autism is a environmental insult. And that includes vaccines big time. VACCINE CAUSE AUTISM, DEAD and also Save lives.

Regardless of your personal posts with lack of data to support your empty facts and statements, VACCINES stand as main AUTISM culprits.

Nice attacks and use of another disorder used to name call. Many people are trying to ban the use of that and here you are using ir freely.

Not sure why you need to attack others to prove whatever it is you have to prove. I'm not here to convince anyone, it's clear you are here to do just that. There is no denying this person's personal experience which they shared and Major copied to here. It's stories like that which people listen to. All anyone get's out of your comments is nothing about autism and vaccines: all they get is how mean you are. MR is based on IQ only, and every time you comment, you'rs shows. Youre not doing the anti vaccine camp any good and if anything, you're giving people all the more reason to vaccinate.

Hope you have a great day.

Why do you get upset?

You say autism is purely genetic. And we know you have been touched with autism. Then autism is genetics in your case.

This is not the case for most other people. There is 100% environmental culprit.

Also I do not belong Anti Vaccine group as you make it seem. However I will not remain blind like you to accept ignornatly all safety studies that they want to shove down people throat.

Honestly, many many people are fearfull. This fear did not come from jenny Mc. but rather incompetency of health agencies to divulge true and real data. And investigate fear surrounding immunization.

In any case, if your IQ is high, then studies shall be funded to investigate genetic autism. Since your autistic genes, might play a big role in your IQ level. If these genes are revealed, I will be the first one in line to be induce with your autism genes so I can have 50% of your IQ.

You too have great day

You're name-calling doesn't upset me, makes me more sad you have to resort to attacking people than being able to have a functional conversation.

I never said vaccines was purely genetic. You of course assume that but if you ever read my posts than attack, you'd know that. You talk a good talk but that's all it is.

Those who makes choices based on people like you, out of fear as you say, tend to find out as the poster said, was unfounded and those choices made no difference to their child having autism. That is something you can not accept. That is what is ignorant; making important choices based on studies you never provide. More and more people are finding that fear factor you and Jenny McCarthy sprew does not pertain to them, and it's all about this great big need for blame that you have. Actually, for Ms. McCarthy it's all about income for her, that's her motivation. She's only tapping into fear like you have to gain money in her bank.

Has nothing to do with high IQ; has to do with common sense that anything you say may not pertain t the majority as a whole and anyone can come to that conclusion since comparing to over all vaccinated children, autism rates are low. Are you suggesting your IQ is low that'd you need some of some one else's?

We all know that there is a variety of IQ ranges both within and without autism, so cut the crap. It's all caused by genetics for everyone, so what's your point? Are IQ's caused by autistic genetics somehow inferior to IQ's from - what, a nongenetic source? You have studies and youtubes on that too, I'm sure. Come on, grow some balls and actually come out and say the BS we know you're itching to say. Because normal genetic IQ people like YOU are soooooo much more brilliant, right? Your "superiority" is self-evident.

If there *is* another kind of autistic IQ source other than genetic, please clue us in. I am sure we will all be waiting with bated breath for your great and wondrous all-knowing revelation. Please note for future reference that the word is BATED, not BAITED. But hey, I'm impressed that you managed to even spell IQ correctly. Multiple times!

You seem to be the type of person that enjoys wearing your ass as a hat. That you could use 50% of IQ from another source, there is NO doubt. A gnat would be a tremendous start.

how people who claim that vaccines are obviously the cause fail to provide facts to back that up. Most people, for example, use the court case involving an actual settlement. However, in that one case, the vaccine activated an underlying mitochondrial disease, not autism.
