US patent issued on Sept. 18, 2012- Described three plasma derived peptide biomarkers for the diagnosis of autism were identified using SELDI-TOF-MS technolgy. These complement C3f or its amino acid deletion variants include SKITHRIHWESASLL, SSKITHRIHWESASLL and SSKITHRIHWESASLLR.
