Please arm yourself with the scientific data, your going to need it...
.

.
Read The Dearborn Conference "How the Test was Spun" to see how and why we are being misdiagnosed with the 41+ year old ELISA (screening neurological victims out) testing. They do not want to pay for our long term treatment.
.
Please read it, for you and your loved ones.

I had multiple ems in 1996. We literally had too many ticks on us and our dogs too count, just did our best to remove them as they "arrived." I got what I found out later to be the text book multiple bulls eye rashes associated with lyme disease. I did not know this until later I did not know what they were just very obvious, and ugly. Maybe spider bites? I then got sick very very sick, couldn't move neck couldn't keep food down, NO energy hurt to hold phone, sooner than most I got to a lyme dr. Through months of antibiotic use no, years i'd have weeks of being symptom free. I never could get where I could go 3 months symptom free, I lost insurance haven't seen lyme doc in probably 2 years, memory was slaughtered, pain is excruciating, pain still fluctuates from one part to another back of head and neck and legs and knees are common, i am "silently" disabled, and I live in west MI and Lyme does not live here.

This is just the same old thing that happens to people every day while the stubborn old doctors of the Ifectious Disease Society bury thier heads and insist 4 weekis of antibiotics have cured the Lyme and now it must be something else. They do not know what-and are not even looking. I will tell them what it is . It is STILL AN ACTIVE INFECTION!

It's also important to vaccinate your dogs against Lymes disease, as they can acquire it too. It's becoming more common to see lyme disease in dogs, especially here in Pennyslvania and in Chambersburg. Make sure you talk to your vet about vaccinating against the disease!

I was diagnosed with lyme disease about 3 months ago and I have been on anitbiotice twice. there still are lingering effects - soreness in joints and the doctors are clueless on how to proceed. Any suggestions in a specialist?
In addition, I had my 1 year old dog put to sleep in July w/ lyme disease- he showed no syptoms until the day before. This is a very real disease and more attention should be drawn to this in our area. Franklin county seems to be ground zero for lyme.

The Lyme disease assocation has a lot of useful information on it's website. That is where I found my Lyme Doc. I don't want to give his name because Lyme Doc's are getting in trouble because they don't are not following the infectious disease society's recommendations.

I remembered the tick bite, two weeks later got the rash and was really sick and couldn't get treatment because I didn't test Postive for Lymes.

It took over a year to find a doctor that would treat me. Also there is a waiting list to see most Lyme Doctors.

But before I found my doc. I was diagonised with MS, having a stroke, My memory was so bad I felt I was going crazy. One doctor said maybe I was born that way!

I even took a picture of the rash the infectious disease doc Dr.Olley said it was ringworm!

I pray that the truth comes out about Lymes Disease and how bad it really is and for those who are infected with it and the ones that don't know they are infected!

To Jean in Newville PA, after seeing 26 doctors in Cleveland Ohio with no Lyme help, I went to Dr. Joseph Joseph in Hermitage, PA. He has treated many Lyme victims and he helped me tremendously. He never gave up on me.

I am being treated for lyme with an antibiotic protocol Trouble is I contacted the disease in a seven story building in the middle of town. I am the only one in my apartment and the ticks are proliferating and feeding on me I am getting lyme over and over. I have changed apartments and the ticks just went with me,I have had exterminaters, used all sorts of tick killers and nothing is stopping them. I believe they are on me, in my hair just everywhere. Somebody tell me how to move and leave the ticks behind. I am ready to do anything.

Lisa, I am also from Mi and have had Lyme since 1999. I was diagnosed w/ RA. I did the Ra heavy drugs and they did no good. In 2004 I had both knees replaced and in 2007 my left hip. I have acquired Hashimotos (thyroid autoimmune) disease. I have no cartilage in either shoulder and an elbow that no longer functions.THERE IS LYME DISEASE in MI. We have a boat which we dock at Ludington. I may have contracted it there. My dog, however, who died of lyme was never at Ludington. When i was seeing my Lyme Dr. in Saginaw, MI, I met a woman who was also from Ludington and she had been told there was no lyme disease there either. I have taken antibiotics for two years straight. At that point I lost some of the heavier pain, but the joint destruction continued. The pain continued and the inflammation has never ceased. I now believe it is the muscle wasting disease also. The thing that has helped me the most is bio-feedback. A computer that sends frequencies that are related to the different phases of lyme to destroy them. The problem is it ALWAYS comes back.I was told at Mayo Clinic that I did not have lyme any more. That was the ELISA test. My original Western Blot test sent to California had 8 of the 14 bands positive.I never saw the rash or remember one, but had to walk away from a very good job at Verizon.I just read about Lyme CLR.I think it is silver! I will probably try it. I have tried everything else. I believe the best thing is hyperbaric oxygen which kills viruses, bacteria, fungus, and helps to rebuild bone and brain function. There are no units within 100 miles of me. The one I need is package deal portable $25,000. Of course, it is not covered with insurance. If I find a pot of gold I will use the unit to help others (MS,stroke, diabetic sores, Autism, etc.).Check out hbotreatment.com
You sound just like me saying to my hubby "Doesn't this curse ever go awaY??? It moves around. My pelvis always feels like someone just kicked me there. I do sleep, but when it flares I am up to urinate at least every two hours. Don't give up. Lonna

I'd suggest the Vitamin C and Salt regiment, if you google it you'll run into it, I also have something called the "lyme disease report" which goes into detail how to rid your body of lyme disease with Vitamin C and Salt so let me know if anybody wants it cause I'd be glad to share it if your interested

Mary Beth, I'm on the same situation. I have seen over 20 doctors at the Cleveland Clinic and South west Hosital. I have not been diagnosed yet because no one will test me... I cant get in to see Dr. Joseph until September to get tested.. I even told the Dr that I found a tick on my leg 3 years ago.. They can not figure out whats wrong with me and every day is getting worse!!

My church holds outdoor services in summertime.
They have this noce grove with tall pine and spruce trees.
They all sit out there under those trees during summer services.

I refuse to go during the summertime to those outdoor services and let the ticks fall onto me , bite and infect me.

On the surface, the outdoor services seem nice.
You know, being closer to GOD and nature but haven't we learned?
Didn't GOD give us the brains to understand risks in general and protect ourselves?

I talked to the Minister with my concerns on this.
His reply "nobodys been sick yet".
So from May to Sept, I don't go.
OH.......and it's 95 degrees and the A/C in the church is running the whole day long.

I read a story in a magazine this year (can't remember which)
The story told of a woman who became sick one day and went to her Dr. She went from Dr to Dr for 12 years before being diagnosed/treated for lyme disease.

Hello,

It's 15 years later (after I initially had the bulls-eye rash) but undiagnosed for 2 years. I went through the "hell". Prayed to die 10x a day for a year. Finally found a doctor across the Ohio line - Dr. Joseph Joseph in Penn. I had a year of ? forget (strongest oral anti-biotic) I got much better, but life has changed. I lost part of my frontal lobe.

I'm convinced the bacteria comes and goes. When i get a new doctor I check first to see if they will trust me enough to give me antibiotics when I ask them - without fuss! It happens about once a year, the symptoms start recurring, I go on anti-biotics for a month or so, then they recceed.

I was a near-genius (he said humbly), but I lost about 1/2 of the abilities associated with frontal lobe - had to go on disability - can't organize. I'm fortunate I came back to life. Something that helped me I can't find now - Recovery powder (not same stuff now called Recovery - it was amino acids, L-something or another plus, plus) It helped me get some strength.

Ohio had "4 recorded cases of Lymes back then. 10 miles across border Dr. Joseph was treated over 1000 patients. Does Ohio have a sign, "Ticks go Home!" or are we in denial and ignorance. Duh!
