No big deal for whatever reason my remote doesn't want to work well. Customer for 14 years been pay in for what I thought was service protection. Called waited told dtv would like a new remote,,,,omg you would have thought I was asking for something. First wanted to charge me...didn't though. I have two receivers dtv would only upgrade 1 of them. Well over a $100 buck per month and it becomes more clearer that dtv has gone the way of companies like AT&T and Sears, once great but now the worst for customer service.

I've been a DirectTV subscriber for over 10 years. I chose to pay more for my TV service through DirectTV because i thought I was getting a little more, but now without The Weather Channel that is no longer the case. The substitute Weather Nation channel is a poor imitation and simply doesn't cut it..

You took our WEATHER CHANNEL, w/o our permission. I WANT IT BACK DIRECTV. NOW! I refuse to watch what you replace it with. It is stupid. Give THE WEATHER CHANNEL, back, we are paying for it.

Now, just a few minutes ago, INSP CHANNEL said you are taking it off. You do and I am finished with DIRECTV. It's been going down hill lately. Who is making these idiotic decisions, should leave before they mess the whole company up. Do it or I am going to be an EX-customer. DO YOU UNDERSTAND?

You bring back my WEATHER CHANNEL and keep INSP on or we will call the other guys, and they'll be happy to come. I am not going to take this.

We have been a Directv customer for almost 20 years we originally bought our own receivers and dish originally. Well they have been going down hill since. They raised their prices and we have lowered our coverage to the lowest package we can go and the bill is still over $95 a month. We no longer have the Weather Channel and when we contacted Directv they said that customers complained because they did not want 40% of reality tv that the Weather Channel had in their line up. We told them that is a bunch of bull, they have made alot of customers made and we are one of them. We are looking at other options now.....SICK AND TIRED OF THEIR CRAP, THEY DON"T CARE ONE BIT ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS.......WE ARE NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS ANYMORE!!!!!!

Does DirecTV know what they're doing? Called to cancel on 1/25/14 because of increasing cost. I was offered $96.00 per month but when bill arrived it was more than before. Called and was told we had an increase in February and now you pay more. Finally after talking to Daniel, a supervisor he said quit our service so I quit. Now DirecTV wants to charge me $100.00 cancellation fee. Its a breech of contract when you're told $96.00 but get bill for $136.00. Son in law is lawyer waiting for another bill so he can handle it. I did write who I talked to, which is a plus

The DirectTv ads make me laugh at them even more. They act like their service is the Cadillac of services and it is completely drek. Dishes are so 1989 with the outages everytime there is an electronic storm.

Let's see where to start with this crappy service first going to talk about today pay for golf station and can't watch because satilitte gets interference from sun we'll son is always out and they wont credit me till after 24 hrs well how the heck will I get credit when sun goes down at night time and golfs over by then so I pay but can't watch tourment or get credit they scam on everything it rains goes out sun out goes down so I just we should all hope no sun no rain otherwise can't watch tv but they no how to turn off if bills one day late doesn't matter if you havnt had full 30 days 24 hr service your hit now other problems from first day I had told me about pk deal witch was lie bill was solider to be $82.00 month that what was sold to me bills came in was $218.00 big difference well your hit cause you only have so long to cancel otherwise stuck for 2 yrs even though told no contract that's what's good about direct tv everything sold and told they lie but tour stuck I can't wait for it to be up can't wait to cancel I always tell everyone I know nit to get direct tv had dish and cox before have to say they are better going back to them switched cause thought was going to have savings ya right almost paying double everyone please make sure everyone you know you tell them no DIRECT TV

My comments are ...when I started with DIRECTV. my bill was month later it was 46.00 than three months later IT jump up to 66.00. They told me it would not jump-up like DISH does well guess what it has, even worse. Today I got my BILL and it was 84.98. I called and they said I was being charge for STARS and Showtime. Witch I cancelled. every month they add some \thing just to make the bill go up higher and higher... I can"t wait to CANCEL it for good..........

Iv been trying to give back direct tv box for last 4 yrs at time i cancelled they said oh its past 30 days this was when i cancelled then they are charging me 500.00 for this box i cant use someone please help me i dont think its fairor should i just send back with return reciet help please

We had some fraudulent charges to our bank account, my husband is a truck driver. The bank called and asked if we had made any purchases at a Walmart in Las Vegas. We live in TN, and my husband had not had any loads to Las Vegas. Needless to say, it took a while to get that mess straightened out. This resulted in my Directv check by phone payment being returned for non sufficient funds. I made up the payment of course and thought everything was fine. Three days after I made the payment, my tv was showing code 726-receiver needs to be refreshed. So I called Directv. I was informed that my service had been interrupted and a 14 day hold placed in my account due to the NSF, but that I could pay by card and have my service restored immediately. I told the rep I needed to call the bank first, I needed to see if that payment had cleared my account yet. According to my online banking, the payment cleared my bank the day before my service was interrupted. So I went to bank to get a print out of the transaction, and called Directv back while I was at the bank. I spoke to a superviser and was told it didn't matter if the payment cleared my bank or not, they would not remove the 14 day. I argued that they already have my money, and was prepared to to provide proof. It didn't matter. And thy would not reverse the payment so I could pay by card. They took my money and are refusing my service. I was told this is clearly outlined in their service agreement. I pull up the service agreement on line and no where is this stated. So here I sit for 14 days, they have my money and are refusing to provide the service I have paid for. Any suggestions?

(12) Up to $30.00 Returned Payment Fee, if any bank or other financial institution refuses to honor any payment, draft, order, item or instrument submitted for payment on your account, including without limitation electronic debits to debit cards and bank accounts. You acknowledge that this fee is not an interest charge, finance charge, time price differential or other such charge or payment of a similar nature and it is reasonably related to the actual expense we incur due to unsatisfied payment.

On February 1 2014, I got direct tv for the Internet and cable package. I guess their partner ( huse net ) came to my apartment for no lie 60 sec and said they cant hook Internet up for me and left. So I called direct tv to complain and cancel my account and was sent to the hr department. Well they convinced me that they will take care of the situation. It's been two months now and am calling again to see if they could give me a discount cause I never received the Internet service. Now they telling me there is a cancelation fee of $467 if I want to cancel. This is not right someone please help..

Got Direct TV Sept 2012, pkg for 29.99 plus all free HD DVR, FREE Satellite and FREE installation. The 29.99 a month was to have 6.00 mo. protection plan plus tax and no more than that each mo for 12 months (movies ordered pd when billed or up front). After 12 months, they said it'd go up 10.00 and no more than that. It was billed wrong every month from first one. Id call, they say oh we see what we've did, we'll correct and refund on nxt bill. My bills go directly to my bookkeeper & are paid immediately so I have to call and plead my case each month, till I requested him not pay that bill without checking w/me. Id call because it was so high, they said - you have to pay it than we can give refund. Biggest rip off Ive ever seen. There bills went from 49.99 to 64.00 to 85.00 to 105.00 to now 157.00 a month!!!! They itemize your bill with all this rebates on it but you actually never get the rebates - and we had never heard if any rebates other than if you reccommended them you could get a 100.00 off your bill - 10.00 a month for 10 mid. Did that twice and they never issued that credit either. I told them three months ago to cut off satellite because they were charging for something we never took and they automatically withdrew from my account that mo and still billing me now after I said STOP! We were never able to get any on demand free channels when they told us they had up to 1,000 free. When We'd try to order it'd give a code & tell us to call in the code - which we'd do and they'd say you have to be connected to a computer to get those - mam we have your satellite!! We are so fed up with the extra charges and want them make an appointment to come and get their equipment and refund all the over paid overcharge bills. It's un fair to be with a company 18 months and never get first bill correct!

PLEASE BE AWARE: I canceled service with this company over 3 months ago and they stole $160 out of my account because my card was still on file from when I had service months ago..Please ensure you change your bank info if it is decided the service is no longer wanted ..I now have to wait for my bank to dispute it..DO NOT GET SERVICE WITH DIRECT TV EVER!!! They will take money from the bank account used to pay previous bills..

well where do I start I've had DirecTV since 06 never had a problem on the 18th of may...I had one of my boxes updated in my bedroom being disabled I'm more in the bedroom down it's been one week everyday my system loses signal hi Colin to DIRECTVI talked to the manager supervisor I get no help it was stated to me when it happen again call it happened 4 times in one week that is not normal the tech told me someone will call me no one's call. Not a very happy customer
