This is a good discovery. People battling high blood pressure can take the advantages of turmeric. However, you should still see the doctor if you have a serious high blood pressure condition.

Perhaps you have done too much of the joint advance and it's side effect is loss of cognitive understanding of the chat you are on. Have you gone delirious or crazy with the use of the Arthritis supplement?

I agree Tameric does lower blood pressure..
I have stopped pharmaceutical meds like PLAVIX, a Statin drug called Simvastatin which had many side effects including memory loss and muscle atrophy and I believe is a cause of Parkinson disease . I trash canned Metoprolol and Lisinopril.

I use garlic, Tameric, Hawthorne berries, potassium and magnesium. I take an omega 3 (ethyl esters) capsule and I use a water pill as I had open heart surgery at the end of Feb and they are needed at this pointment in my health care. I also take a stool softer and a hydrocodone pain pill for pain temporary as pain increase BP. I use .05 mg of lorazepam to keep my anxiety level down especially when some person tells me that their doctor is the best or I will die not doing what the doctor states when I AM WELL AWARE of the payoffs and kick backs in the medical profession including keeping a patient sick for profit. There is no doctor (MD) that I think has the health interest of the patient in mind if they do not incorporate herbal medicine with conventional medicine.

Search around and get someone that is good in medicine rather then some pharmaceutical junkie that overlooks the benefits of herbal products.

Hi. I am trying acupuncture and Chinese meds but it doesn't seem to be helping my high blood pressure. Took it for a month without taking my bp pills. Still high. Can I just take half a teaspoon of turmeric and fenugreek seeds powder with water?

What if you have had your gall bladder removed, can you have tumeric then? I have recently started having cinnamon on my cereal, and fruit salad and yogurt and honey for lowering Blood Pressure (cinnamon). In my research i have come across people saying that Applecider vinegar water and honey also lower BP. The other thing I have heard of was eating raisins and pestachios also helps, just a few each day. I have noticed that I am not getting red cheeks which usually happens when my blood pressure is high. I have only recently just started doing this over a month period and now when i lay down at night time i don't have that thumping of the heart like im about to explode. Don't really know how to put it. I try to incorporate the above in my meals every day now.

Hi1 all,

1) 1/4 tsp of Turmeric powder
2) Few fenugreek seed (5to6)
3) Small Stick of Cinnamon
4) Pinch of Nutmeg Powder
5) Pinch of Black Pepper Powder (for better absorption of termeric/Circumin)
Boil water first, About 1 1/2 Cup. once boiling than add the ingredients above.(In no particular order.) Keep boiling til you are left with about One cup drink on your
empty stomach inthe morning. Nothing to eat or drink for atleast 15 minutes. It is extremely important for the water to be realy hot for the Circumin to be extracted out of Turmeric.
Hope it works for who ever needs it.

this help me a lot. i usually take amplodephine 10mg, metaphormine and diuretic to lower my blood pressure. still my bp is at 150 / 90. My doctor said that i would likely develop diabetes thats why Metaphornine was prescribe.
i tried hawthorn, COQ10, garlic oil, nothing worked
then upon reading this, i tried turmeric capsule taken before meals it stablized at 118/80. what a surprise.
now i just take 5mg of amplodephine once a day with turmeric capsule 3x daily.

Have been on meds for 1 month for crazy high blood pressure. The highest I recorded today was 130/80 then I at some supper at 7pm, sprinkled some penzey's hot curry on my grilled chicken breast (turmeric and cayenne combo). At 9pm I stood up from the couch and noticed things got dizzy. BP was 108/69.

It had the same effect the day before but I wasn't sure exactly what caused it.

Before I ever knew my blood pressure was out of control, I noticed the hot curry had an excellent viagra-like effect.

How much did you take. Was it the powder?I have been on meds, natural supplements such as Hawthorne and v.c.o. and garlic an it is still high.
My blood pressure has become normal since doing a 28 day juice reboot(google joe cross and juicing or reboot with joe cross), and I came off my cilazapril blood pressure pills and lost 14 kilos! I am still 20 kilos overweight, though! Problem was that when I stopped the juicing my blood pressure soared again( this is the main reason Im juicing again, to get the rest of my weight off and to see if my BP will stay normal.)

I have used http://qgeneric.info/#iazb for about 3 years and find their products to be reliable and speedily delivered. The Support team are very promt and helpful in solving any issues that arise, caused by my errors not the company's. I was a little sceptical initially about buying generic products rather than brand names. However, the Mens' Health products I have bought have been equally as efficatious as the brand names at a fraction of the cost.

This is all anecdotal. There is no scientific evidence of turmeric or cayenne lowering BP.

turmeric, fish oil, vitamin e,coconut oil and milk thistle are all very good for lowering and controlling high blood pressure and reducing blood sugar if you are borderline diabetic. Its important to get all of these as organically as possible as our bodies don't absorb man made synthetics or only a very small percent of what is needed. Here's a very good website for obtaining organic vitamins, spices, and minerals. 247wereport.com also known as CrusaderHealth. I've been using these products for a couple years with great results. They have a brochure that lists all their products, prices, and what there for, all you have to do is shoot an email and ask for the brochure. Some products are a little expensive compared to say walmart but 100% better quality and like I said most importantly ORGANIC !!!!
