I am 38 years old.I have had ostearthritis in my knees since i was twelve years old. I am over weight. my weight gain started in jr high school. in my case the more weight i lose the more my knees hurt my osteoarthritis has started to spread to my legs and ankles and feet. not all cases of this type stem from over weight. my maternal grandfather as well as my mother suffer from this type of arthritis and they are not over weight.

Osteoarthritis is only one of the many problems associated with obesity. Men and women need to be more conscious when it comes to their health. I even read at http://pinnaclelawsuit.typepad.com that there are many problems experienced by men and women who have had a hip replacement.
