I'm looking for a preferably cheap doctor, general practioner who doesn't really care would be the best, who will prescribe benzodiazepenes to someone with a long history of chronic anxiety and panic attacks, as well as the information of prescriptions I've had in the past for the same drugs.

clonazepam is kolanapin and that isn't as intense as xanax but it lasts longer, some people like it better, if your getting high xanax is better but if you are using it for true anxiety klonopin is better. and as for diazepam that is a way better high than klonopin and and it isn't as strong as xanax but for beginners it is the best choice, it is just as addictive as xanax though.

the nhs is STILL an amazing service. i'd have cervical cancer now if routine screening hadn't stopped it before it happened via lazer surgery. all for free.

sorry, am passionate about my appreciation of the nhs, even if it did fail me when i needed to detox from benzos. but i'm the twat that got a habit.

agreed. it is the best healthcare in the world. But a shadow of its former self. I wouldn't be able to survive without my script,so if I moved back to the uk,the nhs would probably kill me. guess I'll have to go private. ah well. good luck with your cancer. I mean that. atb. paz.

nah... i dont have cancer! thanks but, like i said, routine screening stopped it before it happened, and i now get checked every year instead of every three... so it wont have a chance to happen. well, not that flavour of cancer anyway! but thanks for the concern xxx

should do. and a whole lot more ime.Sometimes I got lorazepam prescribed by my gp if I asked for them. Depends on the gp. but private doctors are a good way to go if you are prepared to part with your cash.

Most of the time the tapper doctors give it muck to fast like two weeks and thats even if you get any one time a doctor told me just stop cold you will be better in 4 weeks i think this my be mosty about money and to save there ass for the mistake of ever putting this stuff out give the people who need a long tapper the benzo to get off and do it slow 10% drop of there dose every two weeks or find a cure there mistake to fix but antone not on benzos now no don't put them on if i could only go back i would have never took in for you people that want to start its a one way road to hell you think the panic attaacks are bad now give it some time 1000 times the anxiety and a pain that you will wish for death i was on 6 years at one tome 20 mg klonopin a day i been there and all most died many times

I've had Heroin and had a huge habit for a while. I never got one diazepam. Except when I nearly died with septic shock and they gave some to get a sleep at night in hospital because they was people getting up in the middle of the night and going wandering, There's nothing like your own bed. I was also on a life support machine for 9 days and they had to take me back into ICU but no room at the inn because they had given the bed to someone else so they had to knock me out and take me over to another hospital to get my lugs emptied.
Not sure what meds they were giving me up to that point as I was out of it. but when I got back to the original hospital they had a morphine drip attached to me doing nothing. It needed an electric pump to give out the right dose. Point was I started rattling bad and this was the worst I'd been thru. Spasms and everything. My cousin, who's a nurse, couldn't watch. They offered me methadone but I knocked it back. I said "why don't you wean me off the morphine over the next 6 days and I'll be fine." The bastards, it got done over three days and it was hard work. But I'm glad now I done it. It was worth it in the end and after 13 weeks in hospital I was ready to go outside into the big bad world. No depression or anything like that you get for months after you cold turkey of come off heroin/methadone.
Sorry, my point was it's a myth that they give out heroin and methadone users diazepam. It just doesn't happen. If any are getting them, it's for an unrelated reason.
Mind you I was In the hospital with DVT after a relapse and the nurse was trying to get me to sign myself in. I said that I couldn't guarantee that I would be able to handle it and may just get up go home without heparin or anything. She did say that they would give me gallium but I told her the vals would be like throwing a deck chair off the titanic for all the difference it would make. Because I was an illicit benzo user too. I get a script of moggies every month too. Anyway they agree to treat me as an outpatient as long as I attended the treatment room every day for 13 weeks I think. Or was it 6? can't mind now.
Whoever judged that as clueless is clearly clueless. Terrible typos yes. I've fixed them in this one. Mad perhaps. Utterly truthful. Yes.

If you don't believe doctors care...if you believe they're all quacks....then why don't you try to survive through medical school? Maybe they just know more than your pea body brain and are basing their decisions off of knowledge and not personal opinion. I find it funny that so many people bitch about doctors, yet run to them for help when something's wrong.

The Uk gp's want and will get patients off benzos, not right atall.Last year a new document came into light, and by next year all patients will be off them. Not fair as no 2 people are the same,if you were a diabetic you would need long term meds?but mental illness, forgotten about.Keep at your gp,but doubtful.I was taken off a benzo after 13 years on it,no replacement, nothing.could not do anything for about 2 months.Doubt if i'll ever be the same again but over the worst. It was hell, dropping everything, shaking and i don't even drink.I could have had a fatal seizure and i wish now i had taken them to court. But we have to keep going and show the b......s that they did not finish us.Made us stronger.
That is odd, it is just bover 2 years after this post and still haven't had any warning from my GP about my benzodiazepine prescription being cut for any reason. I have been informed in changes in the law concerning some of my prescriptions but that is about it, the changes are more of a pain in the neck to my GP, specialist and pharmacy than they have ever been for me. I can live with my prescription printed on a different coloured piece of paper or handwritten, no skin off my nose.

Cymbalta is Duloxetine, do a google search and sure you'll find many others on various sites with more personal info. I can tell you what it is, how it works, why it works but so can wiki really, a good place to start although I wouldn't take wiki as gospel.
If you have an account feel free to PM me because I don't want to be giving out doctor shopping secrets and other tricks on an open forum populated by drug abusers, I don't think it is a good idea or responsible behaviour.
I remember when I was first prescribed diazepam and being told it was non-addictive, I also remember in 1994 I was offered zimmovane which I was also told had no addictive properties.
Benzo prescriptions will continue for many reasons, namely it is the safest tranq, muscle relaxant etc known to man and much more. All medications dealing with anxiety, depression etc will have side effects and withdrawal symptoms of some sort. The trend of using SSRIs and similar doesn't seem to be slowing down, I find them dangerous although admit they have worked well on people I know so won't speak ill of SSRIs. For mr and many others it was a nightmare.
Old school anti-depressants, the tricyclic ones seem to be of more use by what I see and hear too.
There are many people that can't understand why they can't get a simple prescription for diazepam and there normally is a good reason behind it. Sometimes you have to be a bit of a cleverclogs in relation to prescriptions but that is just the way it is and if genuine and not a considered risk you shouldn't have many issues especially if been on a long term prescription with healthy notes.
In my experience it was Trazadone that was a good anti-depressant/chill pill, surprised me but it did work.
End of the day nothing is good long term, I get my prescriptions including benzo and don't take them everyday where another person may cane a weeks worth of script in a couple of nights.
Peace
