Amish Have Fewer Allergies Due to a Farm Effecta

May 7, 2012 Full story: ABC News

The Amish who live and work with animals on farms in northern Indiana, have some of the lowest rates of allergies and asthma in the westernized world, perhaps because of the so-called "farm effect," according to an international study.

What????!!!!..The Amish are not organic farmers?!!” Just because they refuse to be exploited by the USDA who impose their guidelines and exorbitant fees before farmers can officially use the "Certified Organic" label? Who the hell wrote this article? It's quite apparent that the intention is to print half truths (propaganda) and confuse the general public. And..... "Surprisingly, the dairy cows themselves are not raised any differently from the mainstream dairy industry, according to Holbreich." What???!!! The mainstream dairy industry AKA "Industrial Farming" is synonymous with food borne diseases and illnesses! People...please do your own research on this one! This guy Holbreich has no qualifications or business making these kinds of statements. How much research has he done to understand that there are deep pocketed lobbyists from the Industrial Farming Industry & also from the "mainstream dairy industry" every day on Capitol Hill, buying off congressmen and senators so that they can continue to keep people in the dark about the real truths about our corrupt food industry & the USDA. The USDA & the Industrial Farming Industry continue to rape the ignorant public with their PR & corruption when they promote and market their diseased CAFO meats & this white liquid they pass off as “healthy”... "pasteurized, homogenized" MILK.
http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/ar...
“Homogenizing milk has been linked to the rise in arteriosclerosis (hardening of the arteries) and heart disease. The culprit is an enzyme in milk called xanthine oxidase (XO) which partly survives pasteurization (40 percent). When the cream in milk is in it's natural state, the fat globules are too large to go through the intestinal wall and into the bloodstream.
Homogenization changes that by straining the fat through tiny pores under great pressure. XO attaches to the fat molecules (now reduced in size but increased in amount a hundred times) which are now small enough to get into the bloodstream and do its damage.
Scientists have discovered that a significant amount of XO is present in areas of hardened and blocked arteries. XO is not present in human milk. In clean, raw cow's milk. XO is not absorbed by the intestines.”
So, what the hell does an "allergist" (Holbreich) know about the farming practices of the Amish People compared to CAFO aka “Industrial Farming practices” where animals are raised in filthy, unsanitary conditions, fed ground up dead, diseased cows in their GMO corn feed, and where we can expect diseases like ecoli, and mad cow disease? What makes him qualified to make these kinds of statements? What do allergists or medical doctors know about nutrition? Their main purpose is to help line the pockets of Big Pharma by promoting all of these prescription medicines instead of doing any real diagnostics, & performing unnecessary surgical procedures due to all of the "fake" research papers floating around out there. Wake up people! do your own critical thinking and your own research.

..... SEE also, for example,
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Organic_food
..... Those who want to can change from whatever lifestyle they have now to any other lifestyle. But before you do so consider also carefully the many other changes than allergies that would imply. And maybe eventually you'll want to go back to your current lifestyle?

Many of us "Almost Amish" do not immunize our children either. I have a lifetime waiver for my child. Most of ours is grown but my youngest (11 yrs old), is sick a lot less than his frieds and recovers quicker when he does get sick. We also don't use antibiotics at every whim. Most viruses take 10 days for your body to overcome. About the same amount of time they prescribe antibiotics for you. You are right about the injury fund they knew there was going to be problems. Much like big tobacco. Many on the autism spectrum can specfically tie the change in their children to the MMR. Look at the rate autism is growing in our country ... the country with the highest required vaccines. It is poisoning our children. Side by Side the effects of mercury posioning line up with autism symptoms. HMMMM.

To top it off most doctors I know do not immunize their own children. Of the 8 that I call friends only 1 does (because his family travels often out of the country for mission trips). That alone speaks volumes to me.

BULL. The Amish don't vaccinate. Vaccinated children have more illness that nonvaccinated. Allergies and asthma, autism, diabetes, anorexia, schizophrenia, bipolar and more are vaccine caused.
