To all those with CHRONIC allergies to dust/dust mites:
I, for one, have finally accepted the sad fact that "allergists/doctors" have really no idea how to treat chronic dust/dust mite allergies. For over 35 years, I had every possible serum injections available on the planet. For 8+ years, I've been taking Reactin by prescription ( 20mg doses instead of the off-the-shelf daily 10mg).20mg. I've tried EVERYTHING and still, I'm noooo better.
When I lay down, my allergies go away. When I get up, anywhere from 5 to 10 minutes after standing up, I have chronic sneezing bouts, runny nose that you have to see to believe it, chronic coughing sessions brought about by the post-nasal drip. I use the "bad" nose spray to relieve congestion and I've done so for the last 40 years+++.
By the afternoon, I get a 2-3 hour break. UNLESS I eat anything. After every meal, the morning sessions start again although not for as long a period of time...live with it...that's what I tell myself each and every day.

Good luck to all other allergy victims...you'll need it.

I live in the Virginia area and I am a firm believer in natural products for allergy relief. Everyone will have their own opinion but when I look for Allergy remedies, I try to stay with products that are made in the usa and organic. I recently found a free sample that I am waiting on from this place called allergease. you can try them for free at http://www.aedrops.com/free-sample.html
I am waiting on my sample. I will let you know how they work for me :)

I have suffered from severe hay fever allergies for years. Nothing has really helped all that much, from allergy shots, air conditioning, claritin, etc., etc. A totally miserable irritating condition to say the least.
However, I did find a solution one year ago that has resolved my severe hay fever allergies by at least 90 to 95%. The nutraceutical is Anatabine and is available in a product called ANATABLOC. This product is an anti-inflammatory product that is an absolute revelation for me in eliminating my allergies! Allergies cause chronic inflammation and that is the basic reason that Anatabloc works so well in eliminating allergic reactions.
The Anatabloc website does not make claims about allergies yet, because of FDA regulations. But, for me, it is absolute fact that my allergies have NEVER EVER been better in my considerable lifetime!
You can research Anatabloc here: http://healthyinflammation.com/
Good luck and have a great day.

Hi,I had the exact same issue. I was always on antibiotics to rid what I believed was a sinus infection, when in reality, It is a latex allergy. The best way to find out is to change your diet. It sucks, but it sounds to me, like you are ready to commit to anything that works. I also take benedryl and 4 hr. sudefed. Tweleve or 24 hr. make me feel anxciosus. Check out what I posted yesterday also. Bottom line is,wheat is contaminated with latex, from the rubber tree. You have to cook all vegies real well and the list continues to grow, when it comes to vegetables that have natural latex. Your brain swells when you eat an allergen. I become horribly dyslexic and ADHD and I have difficulty having a conversation. I can not remember words and it feels awful. I become hopeless. It is like all my emotions are x's 100. Never eat fruit out of season, because it is shipped from long distance. It is picked early so it looks good while shipping. It is heated with ethanol gasto rippen. I went into anaphalatic shock after eating a pear, Unfortunately, you are uaually allergic to foods you love the most. I promise you, that if you go latex free for even 2 or 3 days, you will be amazed at how well you will feel. People have trouble connecting allergies to food, because the reaction can be delayed for up to 72 hrs. I react within 3 hrs.of eating latex, inhling or absorbing latex. Go to the website A.L.E.R.T. for additional info.Let me know how you do!

I have to use my Neti pot a few times a week when my allergies get bad. I would also recommend this product I found called Sinus Rejuvenation Oil. It has done wonders! This website has tons of information on sinus education and has great info on seasonal allergy relief.

Hi, I know how horrible allergies are. I recently found out that my vitamin D level was low that can cause allergies as well. You can't take a bunch of vitamin D to make up for it. The doctor gave me prescription grade vitamin D for eight weeks. I take Flonase twice daily but I spoke to a friend who is a nurse and she said the best time to take Flonase is in the morning right when you wake up and after dinner so I took it around 6 o clock. I also take tumeric the spice because it is an anti inflamatory at night so I can sleep but I think you cant take more than 1,500 mgs of tumeric per day or do your research .It may not solve the problem entirely but I feel like I breathe through my knows better so I can sleep. I just took 1,000 tonite but becarful what medicines you take that with or research interactions. I take risperdal and lithium and that is it. Don't take tumeric before surgery.Excessive amounts of it could cause internal bleeding. I snort salt water up my nose at night and then rinse out the salt with one scoop of water and now maybe I can breathe through my nose at a tollerable level. It seems to work. I don't get all fancy or anything with that netti pot. I would think too much stimulation would aggravate sinuses but I could be wrong. I take the 24 hour allegra once daily in the morning. Welp, that it and I hope maybe some of my advice might help someone. At the bee pollen store they show you how to deal with your allergies by taking one fourth of a teaspoon of bee pollen and gradually working up top more. The nurse shared this with me even though her symptoms were not like mine with stuffy nose. Take care and sleep well or, look forward to when you don't have insomnia like I did with my first spell with allergies. Be well. Thankyou for hearing my regimend!!

Hi again, how are ya doing? My pharmacist explained it takes 6 weeks to feel the full benefit of flonase . I have been searching for remedies for stuffy nose caused from allergies. One site said to drink three cups of apple cider vinegar per day with deluted fruit juice. I just had one cup with orange juice notice a slight difference in stuffiness but I haven't done that three times per day yet. I also read that Siberin ginseng helps with stuffy nose but some could possibly be allergic to it and it could have some unwanted side affects such as internal bleeding in some.I haven't tried it but check with your pharmacy always before taking any suppliments with medication or any other drug as it could have lethal side affects. I do know that the pharmacist told me not to use Flozane more than prescribed because this will give you what your trying to avoid, a stuffy nose. I put steam on in my room last night and this helps. They sell tiger balm at Asian pharmacies and don't put it in your nostril. I put so little underneath and you barely touch this stuff to get the smallest amount on your finger. You don't dig in it. White tiger balm is different than red . Red is for heat so I get white. Don't use it one hour before bathing or a half hour after bathing. It says so in small print. This made my allergies less unbearable when I first got allergies. It kinda tricks you into believing your breathing in your nose when your not so much. I use breathe right strips too but follow the chart on the wrapper to show you the proper way to put them on. Avoid msg because this inflames your system. I am sure I will feel better when my nasal spray starts to work better. I open my window slightly for air too. I hope you feel better soon.

I have year round allergies. I'm allergic to everything. Mold, grass, tree pollen, pets, you name it I've got it.

I've been to ear nose & throat docs.
Been on shots, pills and sprays.

Had god knows how many scratch tests, which is always funny. I get the usual I can cure you crap then when the doc sees my arms swelled up I get to see his eyes get get big with shock.

Now all I care about is surviving the pollen season. It's hell on earth for 3 months. I can't go outside. A long hot shower is the only relief. Benadril is a good fill in but I end up feeling like a zombie.
