There is another way. I have been taking OPC-3, a powerful antioxidant for three months now, and have found great relief. It is just amazing to feel great again without any prescription or over the counter drugs.

I had most success with Benadryl for my pet allergy, hayfever and allergic asthma (caused by my pet cat). BUT like a few people here have said, it doesn't feel great to be dosed up on medication all the time - and it doesn't stop the allergies completely if they're severe.

Anyway, I live in the UK and heard of something called Medinose a few years ago while watching daytime TV (and suffering with my cat allergy), when they featured it on the programme. You can buy it online, but I think only in the UK. I found it at http://www.medinose.info as they sell it there for half price.(Otherwise it's quite expensive - nearly £80 - but worked for me).

These days I only have to take the occasionally Benadryl and my asthma is a lot better (I never feel like I'm dying at night-times anymore from wheezing), so I'd say it was definately worth a try.

Hi Luke,
I know this is a belated response, but if you're still having trouble with your allergies you might want to try Engystol. You'll have to find a Naturopathic Doctor in your area to get it or you can email Naturopathic Medicine of Southern Arizona (adminNMSA at gmail.com ) We have a lot of patients who swear by it as a cure for their allergies. Many even get monthly doses to prevent their allergies from ever flaring up!

I have never met anyone who has worst allergies than myself. I have seen "specialist" who have told me that I am the worst case they have ever seen. Talk about inspiration!!! On top of the itchy eyes, sneezing, wheezing, and sinus problems, I get really bad hives (a rash) on my neck, arms, legs, and around my eyes. I find that when my eyes are the worst, I go to the bathroom, wash my hands and open my eye lids and i take out the mucus that irritates my eye. That little mucus (which is long and slimy) is such a relief when it is out. Trust me, you will feel instant relief! Then I put two drops of Opcon A (over the counter eye drops by Baush & Lomb) and then I rub Vaseline around the outside of my eye. For my rash the best thing is cold water and Aveeno Oatmeal Soothing Bath Treatment. For the sneezing and asthma I do a combo of Allegra 24 and Singulair. If you can get a doctor to prescribe you a small dose of Prednisone your GOLDEN! My spring allergies are extreme.... since I was 6 I have been suffering and I'm 25 so I know how miserable it can be.... The worst in the drowsy state Im in. If anyone has any real good remedies let me know.

I have found that The Allergy Kit is a natural way to eliminate your allergies at home. It is in a kit form that anyone can use. It worked for me and it is worth a try. The traditional ways are not that good. Look them up on google.

You can try BAX 3000 therapy! I'm trying it today for the first time. It's a relatively new FDA approved treatment for allergy symptoms and other chronic conditions. It's supposed to reprogram the body to have a positive response to allergens rather than a negative one. I will update with my results. Testimonials are pouring in about how much it has helped people. If you want to read about it, go to www.biovedawellness.com .

A loved one is very assertive under the Full Moon tonight. You'll only make it worse if you come down like a ton of bricks, given that Mars is retrograde and it's a lunar eclipse tonight. Besides, do you really want to spoil this evening's celebrations because you've had a flaming row? If possible, live and let live, so you can have a really happy New Year!
