allergies are killing me .. please help..

ok these allergies are unbearable.. i have a stuffed up nose SO BAD.. like the worst you can get it.. cant breathe out of my nose at all.. sometimes i get watery/ichy eyes but not much at all.. runny nose alot.. constantly actually.. NO medicine works for me.. iv tried SO MANY medicines to get me better but nothing works.. but last week my dad bought me some new medicine.. Benadryl: maximum strength.. and it worked!!! like 30 mins later my nose wasnt stuffy anymore.. i was so happy.. but from using it for a week iv noticed everytime i take the pill.. i cant breathe good.. its heavy breathing and i cough like crazy.. and i cant stand not breathing.. my worst fear dying wise.. is not breathing till i die.. like drowning or something but anyways.. does anyways does anything know what i can do?.. what medicine i should take?.. the only probably with Benadryl is the heavy breathing and coughing after i take it, other then that.. it works good.. but yeah.. can anyone help me PLEASE?

I know there are acupressure points you can push to open sinus' up....two are at the base of your nose to either side and two are in the back of head, at the bottom of cranium bone, where this meets the neck...about 2 inches away from ears. You can no doubt find diagram of these on internet.

ok i took benedryl again a sec ago.. and im breathing heavy now.. so now i know its the medicine now.. i think its "diphenhydramine" in the medicine .. i looked it up on the internet and it says that some people have a allergic reaction to diphenhydramine in benadryl like heavy breathing, hives, and some other stuff.. i just get heavy breathing.. so now i know not to buy medicine with diphenhydramine in it.. ok i went to the doctors today and they gave me a medicine called Zyrtec.. it doesnt have that diphenhydramine stuff in it.. so its good.. i hope it works.. it says it works for 24 hours.. so i guess ill take one everyday when i wake up..ok well right now.. its hard to breathe and its really frustrating.. so does anyone know how to fix it so i can breathe? i can breathe from my nose perfect now.. just not my mouth now.. i need to get that diphenhydramine stuff outa my system somehow.. thanks for you help guys.. i love you!!! lol

As someone else here has said, the best way to feel good is to avoid what you are allergic to. If you are having "seasonal allergies" in the spring, you could be allergic to tree pollen or other early pollenators.
One way to deal with your sinuses is to "flush" out the offending allergens! Also, if you are looking to find non-drug remedies for allergies, you can look at homeopathics and herbal formulas.

Hi,ok I have bad allergies,one side of my nose is stopped up,I feel like I'm getting a cold,I've been taking 12 hour,and mucinex twice a day,at night,it wakes me up,at like 2 in the mornnig,I have face pressure,all the time,blow my nose,I also have allegra.

i have tried benadryl and claritin to no avail.
i wake up unable to breath at night around 2 am is the worst.
its so bad that i can only breath through my mouth and end up with a sore throat. i am so miserable becos of this. help

you can also buy nasal strips with vapor. guess i will try them.

its like 2 am and i am awake the dreaded hour the allergies seem to be at its worst.
these nasal strips are excellent. i can breath but what is also helping is some tiger balm.*the white kind* which i have rubbed on my neck and chest.
so try that it seems to work.

Hey gang,
I'm suffering with allergies as well. They seem to be the worst I've ever had this year.
Head is stopped up. Nose is stopped up. I can breathe through mouth.
I try and sleep...but because I'm stopped up..I wake up trying to get more air? Anyone else feel like that?
